IICD 2020: Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur will conduct IICD 2020 part A in offline mode on April 12. IICD 2020 registration has started from December 20, 2019 to March 20, 2020. Before filling the application form, candidates must read the eligibility criteria of IICD 2020. The IICD entrance test 2020 will be conducted in two parts- Part A and Part B. Section/part A is based on general awareness, creativity and perception test while part B consists of material, colour and conceptual test followed by an interview. The authorities will release IICD 2020 admit card on April 1. Candidates can check their results on April 22, 2020. Candidates are offered admission to the various programs based on their performance in IICD 2020 entrance exam and Personal Interview (PI). IICD Eligibility Criteria 2020

The eligibility criteria IICD includes the academic, age limit and other parameters which the candidates must meet before they start filling the application form.

Academic Qualification

  • For B.Des Programme: Candidates must have passed class XII from a recognized board. Students who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also appear for the entrance test.

  • For M.Des Programme: Students must have a graduation degree from design and architecture background. Aspirants must be passionate about aptitude towards craft, fashion or design. Candidates who are appearing in the final year can also appear in the entrance test.

Age Limit

  • As per IICD eligibility criteria, there is no age limit to apply for an entrance exam

Nationality

  • As per the eligibility criteria of IICD 2020, a candidate must be a citizen of India.

Notes - Candidates who are Design/ Architecture graduates can directly be admitted to 2 years M.Voc. programme after clearing the entrance test. Candidates who are graduates from any discipline other than Design/ Architecture, are eligible for M.Voc. after completion of 1 Year PG foundation offered at IICD, which means M.Voc. will be 3 years for non design background graduate.

Things required for Material, Colour and Perceptional Test: Candidates must carry pens, pencils (2B, 4B & 6B), paper cutter, fevistick, eraser, colour pencils/dry pastels/watercolour, scissor, scale, cello tape.

Portfolio: Candidates are advised to carry some sample of their creative work to show the interview panel as this will help the panel to get an idea of candidates’ capabilities. The sample of your design could be anything, such as sketching, painting, embroidery, photography, worked with the material, or written anything creatively.

IICD Admit Card 2020

Authorities will release the admit card of IICD 2020 on April 1, 2020 in online mode. Candidates will be able to download the admit card by using their login credentials. Candidates who appeared for the IICD entrance exam have to carry the printout of admit card along with one xerox copy and original copy of Identity proof.
