The admission of candidates is based on the eligibility criteria and cracking the test for M.Des 2020 at IIT Guwahati. Applicants should go through eligibility criteria of IIT Guwahati M.Des admission to know the qualifying exam and minimum percentage they should have obtained in the same to be eligible to appear for the exam. All general category candidates must have a valid score of Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED).

Candidates must have obtained a minimum CPI of 6.0 out of 10 or minimum 60 of marks.
Four year Professional Diploma in Design of NID or Professional Diploma of CEPT (5-year programme)
Candidates must have obtained a minimum CPI of 6.0 out of 10 or minimum 60% of marks.
Relaxation for SC/ ST/ PwD Candidates: The CPI or percentage marks mentioned above in eligibility requirements will be relaxed by 0.5 CPI or by 5% marks for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. That implies, the SC/ ST/ PwD candidates must have a minimum CPI of 5.5 out of 10 or minimum 55 of marks in their qualifying degree.
Note: Candidates appearing in their final semester may also apply provided that they complete all formalities for their degrees before the second week of July 2020. In case they are selected ,candidates will be admitted provisionally and will have to provide the results of their qualifying examinations latest by the third week of August 2020. Furthermore, they must fulfil the minimum criterion of marks/CPI, and other requirements such as valid NET/GATE/CEED score. In case a candidate fails to fulfil any of these requirements, his/her candidature would be automatically cancelled.
Candidates will be shortlisted for IIT Guwahati 2020 M.Des admission entrance test based on CEED 2020 score. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a written test followed by the personal interview.

I don't think that doing masters at this age would be of any benefit. Even after doing your masters you are going to give your 2 years and after that your age will be an actor and you cannot start your career at the age better you can use your experience and get promotion by your work because degree wont help you at this age.
