The CE Certificate Programmes are focused on complementing the practical knowledge of industry professionals with formal technical education in their respective work areas. Answer: National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is headed by the Director General, who sits at the headquarters in New Delhi. Each campus is headed by a Director, while each academic department is headed by the respective chairperson as an academic head. In each campus, the department is headed by the campus coordinator.

Test Weightage: The weightage assigned to each test in the final merit list of the entrance examination

NIFT Selection Process  consists of three stages namely- NIFT Situation test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview. After the announcement of NIFT result, all the candidates who successfully qualify the exam are called for NIFT selection process. The final selection is done on the basis of overall performance of the candidate.

Shortlisted candidates for admission to Bachelor of Design course have to appear for NIFT Situation Test. And shortlisted candidates for Masters Programs have to undergo a case study based GD and PI round. The final results will then be declared in May/June 2019 followed by counselling process for qualified candidates. The weightage for various courses as per the exams is indicated in the table below.
