NID Entrance Exam (DAT) consists of two stages - prelims and mains. NID DAT 2023 admit card for prelims and mains exams will be released separately. NID DAT admit card 2023 for the mains exam will be released to the candidates who cleared the prelims exam.

How to download the NID Admit Card 2023?

NID DAT 2023 admit card for the mains exam will be available to download on the official website admissions.nid.edu on March 9. No softcopy/ hard copy is sent to the candidates through email/post. It is mandatory for the candidates to carry the NID DAT 2023 hall ticket to the test centres along with a valid identity card. Following are the steps to download the NID admit card 2023.

Step 1: Visit the official website - admissions.nid.edu

Step 2: Click on the 'Admit Card' tab

Step 3: Enter the credentials details - email id and date of birth

Step 4: Click on the 'Submit' button

Step 5: Aspirants will be able to see the guidelines related to the admit card on the screen. Read the guidelines carefully and click tick against the declaration box.

Step 6: Click on the 'Proceed to download admit card' button

NID DAT Admit Card 2023 - Exam Day Guidelines

Aspirants who will be appearing in the NID DAT 2023 must follow the important guidelines stipulated by the examination authority at the test centre during the examination. The prescribed instructions are mentioned below.

• Any kind of scribbles and writing on the admit card of NID DAT 2023 is prohibited.

• After downloading the NID DAT 2023 admit card, aspirants must note the roll number, exam centre, and reporting time.

• Candidates are advised to take a printout of the multiple copies of admit card for future reference.

• Aspirants must carry the NID DAT admit card at the exam centre along with proof of identity.

• If any candidates fail to produce the hall ticket, then they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

• Candidates must report to the NID DAT 2023 exam centres at 8 am. The entrance exam will commence at 10 am.

• If any candidates find seeking or giving assistance to the other students, then they will be disqualified from the exam

• It will be considered a criminal offence if any candidates try to take the NID DAT question booklet or part of it along with them.

• Aspirants must reach the test centres a minimum of two hours prior to the exam timing.

• The entry gate of the test centre will be closed 30 minutes before the commencement of the exam, after which none of the candidates will be allowed to enter the exam venue under any circumstances.

• Candidates are not allowed to leave the examination hall before the end of the entrance test.

Documents to be carried to the NID DAT Exam Centres 2023

NID DAT admit card 2023 is an important document that candidates must carry to the exam centre. Along with the admit card of the NID DAT, aspirants must also carry any of the following details at the test centre.

• Candidates passport

• Voter ID of the candidates

• Candidates pan card

• Aadhar card of the candidates

• Student ID card

• Candidates driving license

Note - Candidates must get the admit card attested by the Principal of their school/ college for both Part A and Part B if in case candidates do not have any of the proof as mentioned above of identity.

Things that should not carry to the NID DAT exam Centres 2023?

Aspirants must not carry the following items to the NID DAT 2023 exam centres as they are strictly prohibited inside the examination hall by the concerned authorities. Things not be carried out in the test centres include the following.

• Bag

• Handbag

• Water bottle

• Marker

• Papers

• Notes

• Books

• Mobile

• Any electronic gadgets

However, aspirants can carry a lead pencil, dry colours eraser, sharpeners, and ruler for the purpose of examination.

NID DAT Exam Centres 2023

The exam centres are the cities where the entrance exam of the NID DAT will be conducted. Candidates must report to the NID DAT 2023 exam centre within the reporting time which is mentioned on the NID admit card. The exam centre for the prelims and mains exams is different. The NID DAT prelims exam will be held across 23 cities in India.

However, the mains exam will be conducted at any of the NID campuses - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gandhinagar, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, and Assam.

For B.Des mains, the candidates have to choose the studio test exam centre from May 2023, in online mode. If you do not select any centre, the system will automatically assign centre based on seat availability.

NID DAT Exam Pattern 2023

The National Institute of Design stipulated the exam pattern of NID DAT 2023 for both prelims and mains exams. The exam pattern contains all the parameters of the exam.
