Earlier, the authority commenced the NIFT 2023 application form on November 1, 2022, in online mode. The last date for submission of the NIFT application form 2023 with a regular fee closed on December 31, 2022. In order to complete the application form for NIFT 2023, students have to pay a NIFT application fee of Rs 3000 (Rs 1500 for SC/ ST/ PWD).

NIFT Eligibility Criteria 2023

Aspiring candidates are mandatory to meet the stated NIFT 2023 eligibility criteria. According to the NIFT eligibility criteria, General candidates must be less than 24 years as of August 1, 2023. However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Person with Disability (PWD) categories get a relaxation of 5 years of the upper age limit.

NIFT 2023 Registration - Important Points to Remember

It is necessary for design applicants to follow the required criteria stipulated by the NIFT authorities while uploading the documents. The list of important points to keep in mind when uploading documents in the NIFT Entrance Exam Application Form 2023 are as follows.

Photograph

• The photograph must be in colour and it must be taken in a professional studio. Self-composed portrait photography is not acceptable.

• The photograph must be taken with a white background.

• The photograph must be recent and should be taken after September 1, 2022.

• Candidates' facial features must occupy 80% of the photograph area along with a clear view of the whole face directly looking into the camera. The candidate’s facial features must not be covered by hair of the head, any cloth, or any shadow. The candidate’s forehead, eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, and chin should be clearly visible.

• Wearing spectacles, and glaring at glasses in the photograph is not acceptable. Only clear glasses are permitted and spectacles with dark or tinted glasses are not allowed.

• Candidates must upload the photograph in JPG/ JPEG format, with a maximum size of 50 KB.

Signature

• The signature is taken on white paper with a black colour pen.

• Scanned images of the signature must be uploaded in JPG/JPEG format with a maximum size of 50 KB.

Step 1 - NIFT Registration

Students have to create a login account to fill out the NIFT 2023 registration form. For a new applicant, click on the ‘Fresh Candidates to create LogIn’. Enter the following details
