NIFT 2021 - Exam Day in Pictures: National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts NIFT 2021 in two slots on February 14 amidst COVID 19. NIFT entrance exam is conducted in pen and paper mode in 32 cities across the nation. Aspiring students who will appear for the NIFT 2021 with the ambition to secure admission in National Institute of Fashion Technology. NIFT Creative Ability Test (CAT) will begin at 10 am. Students are seen reporting to the NIFT exam centres 2021 at least 2 hours before the exam. Candidates are seen wearing face masks/shield, hand glove and carrying transparent hand sanitizer bottles. Thermal checking was done in the entry gate. The test-centres authorities the parents to clear the gate to avoid causing inconvenience to the students entering inside. Answer lateris it compulsory to give GAT and CAT to appear for NIFT exam 2022 ?
National Institute of Fashion Technology ( NIFT ) entrance test consists of three phases - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test.
However if you want to take admission in Bachelor of Technology will have to appear GAT only.
So, yes for nift 2021 or nift 2022, you have to clear the three phases first CAT, GAT and situation test, respectively.
NIFT exam pattern for CAT may include three questions and you will have to answer in three hours. The maximum marks allocated for the exam is 100.
Gat exam will be conducted for two hours and you will get 100 questions. And the subjects will be English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Communication Ability, Analytical Ability, General Knowledge and Current Affairs.

NIFT entrance exam is three-tiered in its format for BDes and MDes course admissions.
As part of the NIFT entrance exam 2021 for BDes and MDes admissions, candidates have to first appear for the Creative Ability Test (CAT) which is followed by a General Ability Test (GAT).
The final admission round for the BDes course is a Situation Test and that for MDes is GD/PI round.
For BFTech course admissions, candidates have to take the GAT exam only whereas for MFTech and MFM programmes, candidates have to appear for GAT and GD/PI admission round.

How many days before nift entrance exam should I take my covid test so that I get my certificate valid for exam......?

If you are going for NIFT examination then there no mention of the date before or the validity of the test by the NIFT administration. But as per the official government data the COVID 19 test is valid for 72 Hours or 3 days.
National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi was established in 1986, the tremendous turning point in the history of Fashion industry. It was well recognized by the Government of India, Ministry of Textile with the collaboration of FIT, New York. The Institute provides a common platform for fashion education, research and training.
