The shortlisted candidates in CAT and GAT for Bachelor of Design will have to take situation test. It judges test-takers’ ability to handle the given set of materials along with innovation in a particular situation. Candidates should note that they are were not allowed to carry any additional material. Evaluation of the model was done on the basis of space visualization, creativity, uniqueness, finishing, element composition, construction, colour scheme, and a lot more.
Candidates who wish to take admission in B.F.Tech has to appear GAT.

The Creative Ability Test (CAT) comprises three questions which candidates have to complete within three hours. The total marks is 100. This test is conducted to evaluate the intuitive & design ability and observation skills for developing a concept. Creativity and innovation in skills will also be judged via this test.
The General Ability Test (GAT) is of 2 hours paper-based test which consists of 5 sections. The total number of questions in the paper is 100. For other details like weightage of each section, kindly refer the article.

NIFT will release NIFT 2020 cutoff in May in online mode. The cutoff will be released section and campus-wise post counselling and admission. NIFT cutoff is minimum rank released by the institutions for providing admission in various undergraduate courses in fashion technology and design.

Hello student student yes sure you can appear for nift entrance examination in 2021 as eligibility criteria says students must have passed class 12 (or appearing) with any discipline from a recognized board.
Nift offer two Bachelor course one is B.design and second is B.ftech candidates applying for b.ftech must have physics chemistry and mathematics in class 12.and for bachelor of design any stream students can apply.

The results for NIFT 2020 written test will be declared in the month of March, 2020. Accordingly, the students will be called for further round like GD or PI. The final results for the same will be announced in the month of May 2020.
