UCEED Exam Analysis 2020 - Indian Institute of Technology Bombay conducted UCEED 2020 on January 18. The UCEED 2020 exam analysis from experts and students here. UCEED Exam Pattern 2020

There are a few changes in distribution of the questions in UCEED 2020 and the marking scheme. The highlights of the changed exam pattern are:

  • There will be one question paper of a total three hours duration.

  • Questions from both the parts are compulsory.

  • Part A- 240 marks; Maximum time: 2 hours 30 mins.Part B-60 marks; Maximum time: 30 mins.

UCEED Cutoff 2020

UCEED Exam Analysis of Past Years

UCEED 2019 Exam Analysis

In 2019, there was a noticeable rise in the number of people appearing in UCEED test. As per UCEED exam analysis, the paper was lengthy and hence time management was a little challenging. The mix of questions given in the exam was different from last year’s question paper but had the same level of difficulty.

The UCEED examination was of 3 hours with 85 questions carrying a total of 300 marks. The paper was divided into three sections, consisting of Numerical Answer Type, Multiple Select Questions and Multiple Choice Questions and all sections were compulsory.

UCEED 2018 Exam Analysis

UCEED 2018 paper had 85 questions in total. The difficulty level of UCEED 2018 as compared to the previous year papers was slightly on the lower side. Questions on fonts, counting of shapes, puzzles which are regular aptitude questions were asked. According to UCEED exam analysis 2018, geometry was given some importance besides regular arithmetic questions, and more emphasis was given on general knowledge like logos with importance to Indian art, culture, etc.

Students who went through previous years’ mock papers found the exam relatively easy to moderate and were able to finish their exam well before time. Overall, the question patterns were similar to those of the previous years.

UCEED 2017 Exam Analysis

UCEED 2017 was conducted on January 22 in CBT mode. The exam paper was easy and almost similar to the 2016 paper except that only one section carried negative marking. Section A, NAT (Numerical Aptitude Test) was a little lengthy and time consuming while the remaining sections were as usual. Some questions in Multiple Selection Questions section were tricky. Sketch/design part was not included in UCEED and only computer based questions were given to them to evaluate their design skills.

UCEED 2016 Exam Analysis

UCEED was conducted on January 17 in the year 2016. The test paper of UCEED exam was divided into three sections which consisted of Numerical Ability Type (NAT) questions, Multiple Select Questions (MSQs) and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). As per UCEED exam analysis by experts, the question paper was unexpected and quite tricky. A few questions from historical and cultural questions including general awareness related to design were asked while students had to answer a lot of questions from aptitude.

Yes, it is mandatory for candidates to clear both, Part A and Part B, of UCEED exam. Marks obtained in Part-A will be used to shortlist candidates. Part A consists of NAT (Numerical Ability Test), MSQ (Multiple Select Questions) and MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions). Part-B consists of one question that is aimed at testing drawing expertise which will require subjective evaluation.

Among IITs, IIT Bombay will be best option for your daughter but keep in mind NID is also one of the top Institute in India.  If she can get that college then what could be the better option.
