UCEED Rank List 2020 - Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will released UCEED 2020 rank list anytime soon. The score card of UCEED 2020 could be downloaded from March 13 onwards. The authorities prepared the UCEED rank list 2020 on the basis of the total marks scored by the candidates. The authorities issued only one rank list and there was no separate list for candidates belonging to different categories. Meanwhile, candidates get to know about the provisional category-wise rank from the result page. The minimum prescribed marks vary as per the different categories for UCEED. To award ranks to candidates having same marks, the requisite tie-breaking rule will be applicable. The table that is given below mentions the category-wise distribution of the available seats in Bachelor of Design (B.Des) programmes at IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad and IIITDM Jabalpur for the academic year 2020-21:
* PD reservations @ 5% (total 2 seats in all above programmes) will be horizontal (i.e. PD candidates will consume seats from their birth category quota)
Inter-se Merit Policy of UCEED 2020
In case of a tie, which means that two or more candidates score the same marks, then, in that case, the following rules are applied to determine the UCEED 2020 rank list:
The candidate who scores more marks in Part B, they are ranked higher in UCEED rank list 2020.
If the tie still persists, then the candidate who scores more marks in Part A's, section 2 they are placed higher in the rank list of UCEED.
If the tie still persists, then in such a scenario, the candidate who has scored more marks in the Part-A’s Section 1 will be given higher rank.
If the tie persists, then candidates will be assigned the same rank.
The UCEED committee has the right to decrease the minimum percentage of marks in every section as well as the minimum total marks such that 10 times N ranks is declared, where N is the total number of available seats.
Meanwhile, IIIT Delhi also admits candidates on the basis of UCEED score since 2017. There were 22 seats which were available for the bachelor of design programme.
The participating institutes IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay and IIITDM Jabalpur offered 105 seats in the past for their bachelor of design programme as well as B.Des+M.Des.
