AIEED 2024: Application Form, Registration, Exam Dates, Syllabus, Pattern, Preparation

AIEED 2024 - ARCH College of Design & Business started the AIEED 2024 application form on its official website - aieed.com. Candidates willing to participate in AIEED screening for design studies must complete the online registration process before the deadline. The AIEED 2024 exam will be conducted from December 15 to December 25. 

The entrance exam consists of three stages - General Aptitude Test (GAT), the Creative Aptitude Test (CAT), and Interaction. Students who will complete the registration process before the deadline will be issued AIEED 2024 admit card. Candidates are advised to check the AIEED exam pattern 2024 beforehand to prepare for the entrance exam effectively. AIEED 2024 results will be declared at least seven days after the conclusion of all the stages of the AIEED examination.

About AIEED

All India Entrance Examination for Design (AIEED) is a national-level exam conducted by the ARCH Academy of Design for admission to undergraduate courses available at their Delhi and Jaipur campuses. The exam is conducted on various dates for admission to fashion and design programmes and is held in two stages - General Ability Test (GAT) and Creative Ability Test (CAT).  

The authorities have prescribed the AIEED 2024 eligibility criteria on the official website. Students have to fulfill the eligibility criteria of AIEED 2024 to be eligible to get admission.

• Students must have cleared 10+2 grade through CBSE or ICSE or IB or State Board or any other board equivalent to the ones mentioned above as per UGC guidelines. Any student appearing for the 12th-grade exam can also write AIEED 2024. Students who have cleared the first round of NID or NIFT or NATA are eligible to apply directly for the Interaction and Portfolio round.

• Class 10+1 students can also give AIEED 2024. Students, if qualified, will be eligible for direct admission in the academic year 2024-25 after clearing the last stage of AIEED 2024.

• Students who have cleared the PTE Exam (Academics) within 1 year of course commencement are eligible to give the AIEED 2024.

ARCH College of Design & Business has initiated the first phase of registration for AIEED 2024  in online mode at aieed.com. The last date for submission of the AIEED 2024 application form will be announced soon. Interested candidates will have to visit the official website and submit the required details, upload documents and make the payment of the application fee.  Students have to pay a non-refundable application fee of Rs 3,000 either through an online method of debit/ credit card, internet banking, and demand draft or through the offline method of cash payment.

ARCH academy of the design prescribed the AIEED 2024 exam pattern which includes all the parameters of the design entrance test. Candidates who want to pursue a bachelor of design programme at ARCH academy must go through the exam pattern of AIEED 2024.

AIEED CAT Exam Pattern

AIEED CAT 2024 is the second stage of the AIEED and is given by students who have passed the GAT. The duration of the test is 3 hours and it can be given online or offline at one of the designated test centers. The exam will happen within three days of GAT and it assesses the student's logical reasoning, creativity skills along design sensitivity.

As per the AIEED 2024 exam pattern for the creative aptitude test (CAT), candidates will be analyzed based on the following topics.

• Articulation skills both visual & written

• Design thinking

• Lateral thinking & Creative problem solving

• Awareness of design principles

AIEED 2024 Exam Pattern for Video, Portfolio, and Personal Interaction

In this section, questions will be asked from the following topics.

• Composure

• General Articulation Skills

• Range of work in the portfolio

• Focus and clarity

• Depth of thinking

AIEED 2024 admit card will be available to the student a few days before the AIEED entrance exam. A printout of the admit card of AIEED 2024 hard copy should be carried by the student to the AIEED test center. AIEED admit card 2024 is an important document and will also be needed during the personal interview to get admission to the design courses.

Steps to download AIEED admit card 2024

• Visit aieed.com
• Click on the link to download the AIEED 2024 admit card
• Login using ‘Control Number’ and ‘Password’
• Upon successful login, the hall ticket of AIEED 2024 will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of the same.

AIEEDresults  2024 GAT will be announced tentatively after 5 days after the AIEED exam date. The qualified students will have to appear for the second stage, which is AIEED 2024 CAT. The authority will probably inform the candidates about the result of AIEED 2024 through SMS.  Candidates who will be selected will have to appear for AIEED 2024 counselling.

• Click on the ‘ AIEED result’ tab
• Enter the login credentials - registered email ID and password
• The result of AIEED 2024 will be displayed on the screen
• Download the AIEED result 2024 and take a print of the same.

Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline

Candidates who will qualify for the two stages of AIEED 2024 - GAT and CAT  will have to appear for the counselling process. Candidates will have to carry attested copies of the requested documents for AIEED counselling. 

An interview will also be held on the same day along with the verification of the submitted documents. The result of the interview will be announced on the same day by the ARCH Academy of Design.

Selection of students to the undergraduate design programmes at ARCH Academy of Design is strictly done on a merit basis. The cumulative performance of the student in all the parameters given below is taken into consideration for the final selection:

• Performance in past education like 10+2th grade, 10th grade, etc
• AIEED 2024 exam score in GAT and CAT
• Performance in the Interview along with the Portfolio showcased by the student
