AIFD WAT 2023: Result (Out), Cutoff, Admit Card, Exam, Syllabus, Pattern, Dates, Eligibility, Registration

AIFD WAT 2023: Army Institute of Fashion and Design (AIFD) imparts technical and professional expertise in the domain of apparel management and fashion design. The institute offers admission to students in design programmes through AIFD WAT. The qualified candidates will get admissions in B.SC- FAD, an undergraduate degree. AIFD will conduct the WAT examination for undergraduate admission at their Bangalore campus. The AIFD has a total intake of 60 students per academic year.

The authority declared the AIFD WAT 2023 result in online mode on May 4, 2023. To download the AIFD WAT exam 2023 merit list, candidates have to visit the official website -  aifd.edu.in. The final merit list of AIFD OAT 2023 will be announced on May 22, 2023.

AIFD Online Admission Test (OAT) 2023 was held on April 23, 2023, Sunday. The duration of the AIFD WAT 2023 exam is 3 hours (2.00 PM to 5.00 PM). The admit card for AIFD WAT 2023 has been issued on its official website - aifd.edu.in.

Students must meet the AIFD WAT 2023 eligibility criteria before filling out the registration form. The application form for AIFD WAT 2023 was available at aifd.edu.in. The last date to fill out the AIFD WAT entrance exam application form was closed on April 10, 2023. To fill out the AIFD WAT exam 2023 application form, students paid an application fee of Rs 1000.

AIFD WAT 2023 eligibility criteria are as follow s:

1. Candidates aspiring for AIFD WAT 2023, must have qualified 11th and 12th standard with the same combination of subjects.
2. Candidates must have scored 35% of aggregate marks as regular candidates from the board recognized by the university/ UGC and are eligible for admission in B. SC -FAD.
3. Candidates who have passed the 12th standard through distance education/private mode via NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are required to have the same combination of subjects in the 11th and 12th standards.

AIFD WAT 2023 application form was available at aifd.edu.in till April 10, 2023. Candidates can select any three examination centres while filling out the application form. Before filling out the application form, candidates can check the eligibility criteria for AIFD WAT 2023. To complete the AIFD WAT exam 2023 application form, students have to pay an application fee of Rs 1000.

Application Fees

The exam pattern of AIFD WAT 2023 is given below:

• AIFD WAT 2023 has objective questions.
• The exam is conducted in English.
• There will be no negative marking in AIFD WAT 2023 exam.
• The exam comprises the following subjects:
  • General awareness test.
  • Intelligence and reasoning test.
  • English language competency and comprehension test. This part also includes a short essay.

The AIFD WAT 2023 admit card has been issued in online mode. To download the AIFD WAT exam 2023 admit card, students have to enter their Login ID and Password at aifd.cbtexam.in. AIFD will not be sent to candidates through registered posts.

In case a candidate is not able to download the AIFD 2023 admit card, he/she has to contact the principal of the Army Institute of Fashion and Design to facilitate duplicate hall tickets.

The result of the AIFD WAT 2023 has been declared in online mode. In order to download the AIFD WAT exam 2023 merit list, candidates have to visit the official website -  aifd.edu.in. The exam-conducting institute will also display the AIFD WAT 2023 merit list on the notice board as well. The qualified candidates are also informed individually. 

The shortlisted candidates will be required to make payment of the registration fee of Rs. 10,000 and a hostel fee of Rs. 5,000 on or before May 20 through NEFT/ RTGS transfer.

The final list of admissions will be declared in online mode on May 22.The merit list will be prepared based on the performance of candidates in AIFD WAT 2023.

Mode of Counselling: Online

Candidates will be required to report to the institute for AIFD WAT counselling. AIFD WAT 2023 counselling comprises document verification. Qualified candidates will be required to submit the below-mentioned documents:

• Transfer certificate

• Matriculation marks card

• Migration certificate

• Character certificate

• Both 11th and 12th class marks card (having studied the same combination for two years)
