About IICD 2023: Indian Institute of Crafts and Design, Jaipur conducts the IICD entrance exam 2023 in online mode. The authority has declared the IICD 2023 result for Phase 2 in online mode. Candidates can check out the second drive IICD exam result by entering their Email ID and Password. The IICD entrance exam 2023 for phase II was held on July 2.

According to the IICD exam schedule, the authority commenced second drive admission registration on June 1 and it was closed on June 7. Earlier, the phase 1 result of IICD 2023 has been declared on April 28, 2023. Candidates who qualify for IICD admission should pay the fee from May 1 to 15, 2023.

The IICD entrance test 2023 was conducted on April 16, 2023, in two parts- Part A and Part B.

• IICD Entrance Test (Part A): General Awareness, Creativity & Perception Test: 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
• IICD Entrance Test (Part B)
  • a) Material, Color & Conceptual Test: 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM
  • b) Personal Interview: 3:00 PM Onwards

Part A is based on the general awareness, creativity, and perception test while part B consists of a material, colour, and conceptual test followed by an interview. Candidates are offered admission to the various programs based on their performance in IICD 2023 entrance exam and Personal Interview (PI).

Earlier, the authority released the application form for IICD 2023 at iicd.ac.in on October 21, 2022. The last date of registration for IICD 2023 was closed on March 10, 2023. The admit card for IICD 2023 has been issued on March 16, 2023. The admit card download link has been sent to the candidate's registered email id.

IICD 2023 eligibility criteria include the academic qualification, age limit, and other parameters which the candidates must meet before they start filling out the application form for IICD 2023.

Academic Qualification

• For B.Des Programme: Candidates must have passed class XII from a recognized board. Students who are appearing in the qualifying exam can also appear for the entrance test.

• For M.Des Programme: Students must have a graduation degree in design and architecture background from a recognized institute/ university. Candidates must be passionate about aptitude towards craft, fashion, or design. Candidates who are appearing in the final year can also appear in the entrance test.

Age Limit

• As per IICD eligibility criteria, there is no age limit to apply for an entrance exam

Nationality

• As per the eligibility criteria of IICD 2023, a candidate must be a citizen of India.

Application Fees

IICD 2023 exam pattern includes the exam mode, marking scheme, type of questions, total marks of the exam, etc. IICD 2023 is conducted in three parts: Part A, Part B, and Part C. Part A of the entrance test consists of the general awareness, creativity, and perception entrance exam while Part B includes material, Colour, and conceptual tests.

Part A consists of candidates’ following abilities such as observation, synthesis, visual interpretation, and general awareness while part B tests intelligent use of materials conceptualizes and realizes a 3-dimensional form, skill of handling material, and creates a solution based on a plan, and strategy. It also tests exam takers' ability to provide multiple solutions to the given problem with a written description.

Indian Institute of Crafts and Design sent an email of the IICD 2023 admit card to the eligible candidates on their registered email ID on March 16, 2023. Candidates who appeared for the IICD exam have to carry the printout of admit card along with one Xerox copy and an original copy of Identity proof.

The authority has declared the IICD 2023 result for the second drive in online mode. Candidates can check the phase 2 IICD exam result at iicd.ac.in. Candidates can download their respective results by entering their login credentials such as email id and password. NOTE: Earlier, the merit list for the IICD entrance exam 2023 phase 1 has been declared on April 28, 2023. 

Students will be shortlisted based on their performance in the IICD entrance exam which consists of three parts - Part A, Part B and Part C. Shortlisted candidates will report to the Indian Institute of Crafts and Design (IICD), Jaipur, along with their admit card of IICD 2023 on the specified date mentioned against their enrollment number in the merit list. 

All selected candidates will be informed about their selection through an admission letter, which will be mailed to their registered email ID. The admission letter contains the following information:

• Allotment of Hostel and date

• Time and venue of the academic session
