JD Institute of Fashion Technology GAT 2023: GAT is a General Aptitude Test conducted by JD Institute Of Fashion Technology, New Delhi. To get admission in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses offered by JD Institute of Fashion Technology, candidates have to appear in General Aptitude Test (GAT). The JD Institute of Fashion Technology General Aptitude Test 2023 will be held on June 3, 2023, in online mode. The exam will be conducted in two rounds;

• Round 1: Situation test in stipulated time with given parameters 
• Round 2: Interview

The duration of the JD GAT exam 2023 is 120 minutes (2 hours). Creative (GAT) is of 1 hour 30 minutes duration. Then there is a personal interview of 30 minutes.

The authority commenced the registration process for JD GAT 2023 in online mode - jdinstitute.co.  In order to apply for the JD GAT entrance exam 2023, candidates should pay an application fee of Rs 1103/- using a Credit/ Debit Card, Cash on the Counter, UPI, and Net Banking. Only students who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for JD Institute of Fashion Technology GAT 2023.

What is GAT?

The General Aptitude Test is carefully designed by the department to help the institute and the student understand his current creative abilities. A candidate's skills are assessed through different test formats giving top priority to how each task is approached. The nature of this GAT exam will be more qualitative, allowing the candidates to solve their problems and use their creative thinking skills.

JD GAT 2023 - General Instructions

• Candidates who are appearing for GAT 2023 online please check your internet connection 15 minutes before the start of the exam.
• The use of mobile phones is not allowed during the JD GAT test.
• Mention your details correctly in the answer sheet/ exam submission to proceed with the evaluation process.
• Any incorrect or incomplete test submissions will not be evaluated or processed further.
• Results will be declared as an aggregate of two rounds.
• The decision of the arbitrator shall be abiding and final.
• Candidate must confirm the seat by paying the required fee within 3 days of declaration of the result, otherwise, admission will be canceled and the application fee paid will lapse.

How to fill JD GAT 2023 application form?

• First, visit the official website.
• Next, find and click on the "Apply Now" button.
• Then, fill in the application form for JD GAT 2023.
• The OTP will be sent to candidates' registration Mobile & Email. Verify the contact via OTP. Once verified you will be directed to the GAT 2023 application form.
• From there, enter all details like personal information, qualification degree, course applied for, work experience, family details, etc. 
• Upload a passport-size photograph with Classes 10, and 12, and a graduation certificate.
• Then, pay a GAT application fee of Rs 1103.
• Finally, submit the completed JD GAT exam 2023 application form and take a printout of the same for your future use.

Application Fees

JD Institute of Fashion Technology General Aptitude Test 2023 will be held on June 3, 2023, in online mode. The JD GAT 2023 exam will be conducted in two rounds;

The duration of the JD GAT exam 2023 is 120 minutes (2 hours). The reporting time is 30 minutes before the allotted time. Creative (GAT) will be of 1 hour 30 minutes duration. Then there will be a personal interview of 30 minutes. The marking scheme is divided into two parts 60:40, Creative (GAT) is 60% whereas Interview is 40%.

JD Institute of Fashion Technology sent the General Aptitude Test 2023 admit card to candidates' registered mail id on June 1, 2023, in online mode. Candidates can download their GAT 2023 admit card using the received link on their registered email.

How to download the JD GAT exam 2023 admit card?

• Login to the registered email dashboard.
• Next, find and click on the received JD GAT 2023 admit card link.
• It will redirect you to the admit card page.
• From there, click on the "Download GAT 2023 Admit Card" link.
• Finally, it will download automatically in pdf format.

NOTE: Candidates should carry a hard/ soft copy of the GAT admit card on the day of the examination. Candidates appearing online should keep a soft copy of the JD GAT admit card ready.

How to check JD GAT 2023 result?

• Login to the registered email dashboard.
• Go to the inbox and find the mail received from the JD Institute of Fashion Technology.
• Open the received GAT 2023 result mail and know your status.

NOTE: Sometimes the mail may also be received in the spam folder. You are not selected for the next round if the mail does not arrive.

JD Institute of Fashion Technology will select the candidates based on their performance in General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Personal Interview (PI). The weightage for Creative (GAT) is 60% whereas Interview is 40%.

• On successfully clearing the GAT Test, candidates must submit the booking amount of Rs. 35,000 within 3 days to block their seat. 
• On successful payment of the seat reservation amount, an admission mail will be issued to the applicant from the admissions department confirming his/her admission to the chosen program.
• After this, the candidate has to submit the 1st-semester fee as per his/her fee schedule on the date fixed by the academic advisor.

NOTE: It is mandatory for the candidates to obtain a duly signed receipt and acknowledgment from the admissions department after any fee paid by them during the session.
