About SMEAT 2023
SMEAT 2023: Srishti Manipal Entrance and Aptitude Test, commonly known as SMEAT, is held by Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, and Technology. Around 300 undergraduate design seats in total (200 at the Bangalore campus and 100 at the Pune centre) are filled on a merit basis in SMEAT 2023. Test-takers' awareness and understanding of design are evaluated via SMEAT 2023. Previously this design entrance exam was called SEAT and now it has been renamed SMEAT exam.
The entrance exam, SMEAT is followed by a portfolio review and counselling. At the completion of the course, the students will be awarded a Bachelor in Design (B.Des) by the University of Mysore. The total fee will be Rs. 20 lakhs. They are the Undergraduate Professional, the Undergraduate Technical, the Postgraduate Professional, and the Postgraduate Programme”, informs the official website of Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology.
As per the SMEAT round 2 schedules, the SMEAT entrance exam 2023 for UG and PG admission will be held on June 4, 2023, and the result will be announced on June 14, 2023. Candidates can check their SMEAT exam results from the dashboard by entering their email id and password.
The conducting body released the SMEAT 2023 application form (Round 3) online on April 13 and it was closed on May 24, 2023. The candidates who meet the eligibility can apply for SMEAT (SEAT) 2023, on the official website - srishtimanipalinstitute.in.
What is SMEAT?
The SMEAT 2023 exam contains various admission rounds. Each round of the SMEAT exam is expected to have different question papers. However, each SEAT/ SMEAT question paper will have the same number of questions, marking scheme (total marks) as well as difficulty level. SMEAT score is valid for admission only for one academic year. SEAT (SMEAT) 2023 admissions will be commenced in December, this year. Candidates who have cleared UCEED and CEED exams are also eligible to apply for SMEAT admissions.

Steps to fill out the application form for SMEAT 2023
Step 1- Download the SMEAT application form 2023.
To get the registration form, applicants will be required to click on the online link. They will have to register online and download the form.

Applicants have to make payment of the non-refundable application fee via demand draft. The application fee for SMEAT 2023 is Rs. 3,000 which has to be paid through DD drawn in favour of Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology, Bangalore. Candidates should mention their names clearly on the backside of the DD.
Step 4- Post SEAT/ SMEAT application form 2023
The candidates will be required to accompany the below-mentioned documents with the filled SMEAT registration form 2023:
- Copies of mark sheets/transcripts
- Two recent passport-size coloured photographs
- Copy of birth certificate/ Class X certificate
- Handwritten personal statement in blue ink to be attached separately
- Copy of photo ID issued by the Government of India

Srishti Institute of Art, Design, and Technology, the exam conducting body, prescribed the SMEAT exam pattern 2023. test 1 of SMEAT 2023 will be a written test of nearly 2-3 hours. The entrance test will assess the candidate’s skills to enquire, explore and observe the details. They will be evaluated in one or more of the below-mentioned fields:
