UCEED Exam 2025: Registration, Dates, Eligibility, Pattern, Syllabus, Preparation

UCEED 2025 eligibility criteria will be released by IIT Bombay on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. Students aspiring for admission need to fulfill the UCEED 2025 eligibility criteria the following criteria :

• Candidates should qualify all subjects in 10 +2 or equivalent or any stream are  eligible for the UCEED exam. 

• Candidates born on or after October 1, 1999,belong to the Open/EWS/OBC-NCL category 

• Students born on or after October 1, 1994,belong to the SC, ST or PwD category.

• Students need to clear the UCEED exam in 2 attempts only, that too  consecutive years. 

Note: Candidates should note that the UCEED score card is valid for one year only. 

Candidates aiming for a seat at IITs for B.Des programme need to apply for the UCEED exam 2025. The exam conducting body will release the UCEED application form 2025 on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates should submit the UCEED 2025 application form before the last date. The registration will be cancelled if the candidate does not meet the UCEED 2025 eligibility criteria. Candidates need to check all the eligibility requirements before applying for the UCEED exam date 2025. 

What are the documents required to fill the UCEED application form?

Candidates are required to keep the documents ready to fill the application form of UCEED 2025. All the documents provided will be verified by the authorities. In case of any false information or documents candidature will be cancelled. To complete the UCEED registration form, candidates need to upload the following documents listed below: 

• A recent coloured photograph with specified size. 

• A scanned copy of signature ( only in jpeg format and jpg format).

• Academic certificates (only in pdf formats)

• Reserved category certificates ( caste certificate in pdf format- if applicable)

• Candidates under Dyslexia category need to submit FORM-DYSLEXIC 1 and 2 instead of PwD certificate.

UCEED Application Fee

IIT Bombay will publish the UCEED exam pattern on its official admission portal. UCEED exam pattern 2025 is designed to assess the candidates aptitude and skills. The UCEED 2025 exam will consist of two parts: Part A and Part B. UCEED Part A  consists of three sections namely Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Part B consists of two questions on drawing skills and design aptitude.

The UCEED preparation tips are important for candidates to attain high scores in the exam. Candidates must refer to the best books or resources available in the market to prepare well. Candidates aspiring for design exam can follow the below mentioned points to crack the UCEED exam 2025: 

• Prioritise the topics which are important and asked repeatedly in the exam. 

• Understand the exam structure and UCEED exam 2025 syllabus and analyse the type of question asked, sections , topics need to be practised more. 

• Candidates need to focus on strengthening their basics in each section.

• Improve the drawing and sketching skills to score in the part B. 

• Practice managing time by solving the UCEED sample papers and previous year question papers.

IIT Bombay will issue the UCEED admit card 2025 on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. UCEED 2025 admit card date will be notified after the official announcement. Candidates who will finish the UCEED registration form will be able to download the UCEED hall ticket. TO access the UCEED 2025 hall ticket, candidates need to use their login credentials. Candidates aspiring to appear for UCEED exam need to carry the UCEED admit card to the exam centre. After downloading the UCEED admit card, candidates need to check the details mentioned on the hall ticket. 

Steps to download the UCEED Admit Card 2025

Candidates can check the following steps to download the UCEED admit card 2025. 

• Go to the official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. 

• Check for the UCEED admit card’ link on the home page 

• Enter the credentials  such as email ID and password.

• The admit card of UCEED will be available on the screen

• Candidates can check the details on the admit card and take print out for future use.

  The UCEED hall ticket contains the following details :

• Name 

• Registration number

• Roll number

• Date of birth

• Photograph 

• Signature

• Category

• Exam date

• Test centre 

•  Instructions for the exam day

After completion of UCEED examination, the authorities will release the UCEED answer key on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED 2025 provisional answer key will be released probably in the last week of January. The authorities will release the UCEED answer key objection window for candidates to challenge the provisional answer. After closing the UCEED answer key challenging window, the final answer key of UCEED will be released by the authorities. 

UCEED result 2025 will be declared tentatively in March. The UCEED 2025 result link will be hosted on its official website - uceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates can check the results of the UCEED 2025 exam by entering the login credentials such as email address and password on the admission portal. UCEED results will contain rank and score obtained by the candidate.  The UCEED 2025 merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's performance in the exam and rank obtained.

• To download the UCEED  result use the login credentials 

• The UCEED result will be displayed
