National Institute of Fashion Technology conducts entrance exam on February 12
National Institute of Fashion Technology, under Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, has conducted NIFT Entrance Exam 2017 on February 12 in pen & paper mode for admissions to Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fashion Technology programmes offered across 16 campuses located in India. Candidates seeking admissions to B.F.Tech programmes had to appear in General Ability Test (GAT), while those willing to get admissions into B.Des programmes were also required to appear in Creative Ability Test (CAT) that analysed their creativity and innovation skills.

Exam duration: 2 hours
Total questions: 100

There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
On the basis of result of written test GAT and CAT, shortlisted B.Des candidates will be called for second test called Situation Test. It is expected to be conducted in April and May in which they will be tested practically by assigning situations where they have to draw or craft models with given resources. They will also need to explain their concept for the model created in writing.

Yes you are eligible.
Candidates should have completed their Class 12 from a recognised board with passing marks to be eligible to appear for NIFT entrance exam 2020. Aspirants should be below 23 years of age for NIFT admission 2021.

when is NIFT 2021 is going to be conducted
NIFT 2021 will be conducted most probably in the third week of January 2021.
i will be sitting for NIFT 2021 entrance exam and with both my board and nift preparations, I am worried that I wont get a good rank. Please suggest me a routine and backup too if i dont get into nift. Also i have an extremely busy routine, please HELP.
