National Institute of Fashion Technology has released NIFT Admit Card 2017 on January 21 (1 PM) in online mode. The Admit Card of NIFT 2017 is available for provisionally eligible candidates based on the information given in their application form. Entry to the NIFT examination centre will be allowed with admit cards only. Before downloading, candidates must ensure that the following information displayed on NIFT 2017 Admit Card is correct-
1. Candidature details – name & roll number
2. Programme appearing for
3. Date and timings for NIFT 2017
4. Exam centre name and location
5. Candidate’s photograph and signature

The admit card for appearing in NIFT 2017 has been issued for General Ability Test (GAT) for B.F.Tech and B.Design programmes. Candidates are required to download it as it will not be issued in offline mode by post/courier, or they cannot obtain admit card in person from official address.
NIFT 2017 Situation Test/Group Discussion/Interview will be held in the months of April and May. The exam conducting institute will announce results in May/June. The counselling procedure for admissions will be conducted in June.
NIFT Entrance Examination 2017 will be conducted in offline mode by National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi on February 12 for admissions to undergraduate programmes including Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Fashion Technology. There are as many as 16 NIFT campuses all over India offering 2010 B.Design seats and 360 B.F.Tech seats.

NIFT has nothing to do with CAT or GAT. Those are the exams for MBA. NIFT is for admission in fashion courses.
The eligibilitiy is just marks of your 10th and intermediate. The main point is the candidate must have qualified both from a recognised board and must be having PCM as the compulsory subject.
The exam has an age limit to be 23 and there is 5 years relaxation for category reserved candidates.

I can't tell you the exact dates as it's not been announced officially yet but yes start date of NIFT 2020 online application is fourth week of October 2019 , so you will be able to fill the application form once it is released. Last date to fill NIFT application form 2020 will be fourth week of December 2019, so you need to make sure that you fill the form before the last date while National Institute of Fashion Technology will conduct NIFT entrance exam in third week of January 2020 in pen and paper based mode. NIFT entrance exam is a gateway for getting admission in bachelor’s courses in Design (B. Des.) and Fashion Technology (B.F. Tech.). Yes, you can get NIFT, Mumbai even if you gave your Entrance Exam in different centre. The centre of your entrance exam is no mode for the college you are given admission in. So don't worry. You will be getting the college according to your marks and rank.
