National Institute of Design has made available admit card of Design Aptitude Test (Mains) in online mode on March 31 (Friday). Candidates can download it by logging in using their credentials. After downloading NID DAT Admit Card 2017, they must cross-check all the information furnished on it. Test-takers are required to print it on an A4 size paper as well.LATEST - Candidates want to apply for NID DAT 2018 can check the NID DAT Eligibility, NID DAT Application Form, and Dates of NID DAT.Stationery and other tools to be brought along with are mentioned in the NID DAT 2017 mains Admit Card. Candidates must report at 08.30 AM on the exam day (May 16) at the respective exam centre mentioned on the hall ticket. Anyone without the admit card will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.
DAT Mains exam is scheduled to be conducted in four campuses of NID (Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Vijayawada and Kurukshetra) on May 16, 2017 from 09.30 AM to 12.30 PM for admissions to B.Des programmes. First merit list will be declared on May 31, 2017 (Tuesday). A total of 100 seats will be allocated in Industrial Design, Communication Design and Textile, Apparel & Lifestyle Accessory Design. The four-year-long Bachelor of Design (B.Des.) programme will be offered only at NID Ahmedabad.

NID Design Aptitude Test is an exam through which aspirants are shortlisted for admission in UG and PG design courses offered at the prestigious NID campuses. Candidates need to clear two NID admission tests in order to be eligible for admission in Bachelor’s Graduate and Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) and other courses offered at its campuses . Earlier, NID offered admission in its five campuses through NID entrance exam. However, from 2019 onwards two more NID campuses, that is, NID Bhopal and NID Jorhat also started offering admission in GDPD course on the basis of NID admission test.
