The window for challenging the answer keys of Design Aptitude Test (DAT) prelims 2018 is open from January 18. Candidates can challenge the answer key in online mode until January 19, in case they find any discrepancy. Using their login credentials/registered email ID, only those, who have appeared in NID DAT prelims, can submit the challenge for answer keys.Candidates can log in here to file online objection in NID DAT 2018 Answer Key
Important instructions regarding NID DAT 2018 answer key challenge
A candidate can challenge answers to maximum three questions.
NID DAT 2018 answer key challenge has to be submitted separately for each question with complete solved answer/justification.
A fee of Rs.1,000 has to be paid for challenging per question. The fee paid will be refunded to the candidate if the challenge is found legitimate. However, there will be no refund for the NID DAT answer key challenges, which are not legitimate and not accepted.
If the challenge is found legitimate, only those test-takers, who have attempted that question, will be awarded the marks for the same.
The question paper and answer key were released on January 12 for NID DAT 2018 (prelims) that was conducted on January 7. NID will upload the final answer keys on January 30 after considering all the objections.
The Institute will declare NID DAT 2018 result in online mode on March 13. Candidates, who appeared for the prelims stage, can view their scores and ranks by logging in to their account. Shortlisted ones will be eligible to appear for DAT Mains that is scheduled to be held from May 15 to 22, 2018.

NID Design Aptitude Test is an exam through which aspirants are shortlisted for admission in UG and PG design courses offered at the prestigious NID campuses. Candidates need to clear two NID admission tests in order to be eligible for admission in Bachelor’s Graduate and Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) and other courses offered at its campuses . Earlier, NID offered admission in its five campuses through NID entrance exam. However, from 2019 onwards two more NID campuses, that is, NID Bhopal and NID Jorhat also started offering admission in GDPD course on the basis of NID admission test.
