What is the CEED 2021 (Common Entrance Exam for Design)?
CEED is a national level exam conducted by IIT Bombay every year to offer admission to the design aspirants in various M.Des programmes across the participating institute and result sharing institute. IIT Bombay released the draft CEED answer key 2021 along with the question paper and response sheet on January 21. Candidates can download the provisional CEED answer key and compare with their answer sheet. If students find any discrepancies then they can challenge the draft CEED 2021 answer key by providing enough proof to support their objection. After gathering all the comments from the candidates, the examination cell released the final answer key of CEED for Part A on January 31.
The result of CEED will be declared on March 8 in online mode. To check the CEED 2021 result candidates have to enter the required credentials in the login window. Along with the result, students can also download the scorecard of CEED that will be valid for a period of one year from the date of the announcement of the result. CEED result 2021 will include the details such as the name of the candidates, roll number, score or marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
CEED 2021 Scorecard
IIT Bombay will release the scorecard of CEED on March 8, 2021 for the qualified candidates only. Students have to download the CEED 2021 scorecard and take a print out of the same. The scorecard will be valid for one year from the date of the declaration of the result. Students must keep the CEED scorecard 2021 safely as it will be verified by the institutions at the time of admission along with the required documents.
CEED 2021 cut-offs (δ) for Part-A marks for the open category candidates will be calculated in µ + (σ 2) = δ where µ and σ are the average marks and standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by all the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2021. The µ and σ will be rounded off after the first decimal place. Reserved category candidates will be 0.9𝛿 for OBC-NCL, 0.9𝛿 for EWS, 0.5𝛿 for SC/ST and 0.5𝛿 for PwD, where 𝛿 is the cut-off mark for OPEN category. CEED cutoff 2021 is the minimum marks determined by the examination authority which candidates must have to obtain to be applicable for the admission. If candidates fail to score the minimum qualifying marks then they will not be eligible for the admission in the design programme. The minimum qualifying percentage as per specified by IIT Bombay is given in the table below.

IIT Bombay has released the mock test of CEED in online mode. The agenda for providing the CEED mock test is to assist students in getting an idea about the format of the questions which will be asked in the test, maximum mark allotted, weightage of the questions, marking scheme etc. Students are advised to appear in the CEED 2021 mock test as a part of the preparation for the entrance test.
IIT Bombay issued CEED admit card on January 1, 2021, in online mode. Students must keep in mind that the authority have provided the CEED admit card to the eligible candidates who registered the application form on or before the due date. No hard copy or soft copy of CEED admit card 2021 will be sent to the candidates by the authority through post or email. Students can download the admit card from the portal by entering the required details. CEED 2021 admit card is an important document which candidates have to carry to the exam centres along with the valid identity card. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination hall with the hall ticket. CEED admit card will mention the information such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centres, exam guidelines etc. If the candidates find any discrepancy, they can get the changes made till January 7 by writing to the authorities.
The exam pattern of CEED contains all the exam parameters of CEED. Students must look through the CEED 2021 exam pattern to get knowledge about the question format, exam duration, mode of exam, marking scheme etc. Having a clear idea about the CEED exam pattern will help the candidates to secure good marks in the entrance test. CEED 2021 Exam Centres
The exam centres of CEED are the cities where CEED entrance tests will be conducted. Students will have to select the preference exam centres at the time of filling the application. While selecting the exam centres, students can choose at least three exam centres as per their choice. Candidates must select the CEED 2021 exam centres where they can reach easily. NIFT entrance test will be conducted to offer admission in the Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Fashion Technology programs at 16 campuses of NIFT on February 14. The admit card of NIFT 2021 will be available on the official website to download for the eligible candidates only from February 1, 2021 onwards. Candidates can download the NIFT admit card 2021 by providing the required credentials. Yes you are eligible for NID admission. The criteria for Bsc graduate states that you must have Bachelor degree of minimum 3-year duration in any specialization, after 12th standard or equivalent to 12th standard. Condition: you must have passed the Bachelor degree examinations before June 2019.
