    About CEED 2026

    The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, declared the CEED 2026 result on March 4, 2026. Candidates can check the result from the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The CEED 2026 result scorecard is available for download from March 10 to July 31, 2026. Earlier, IIT Bombay released the CEED 2026 part A cutoff on February 5, 2026. It had conducted the CEED exam 2026 on January 18, 2026 from 9 am to 12 pm. The CEED information brochure, along with the CEED 2026 schedule, is availale on the official website. 

    The CEED 2026 exam comprises two parts - A & B. The CEED Part-A is a computer-based test whereas Part B is the pen and paper based test. The CEED 2026 admissions are offered to design aspirants for pursuing their post-graduation. Candidates can also check the CEED courses offered. The list of CEED 2026 participating institutes are also available on the CEED web portal. The CEED 2026 counselling will take place according to the participating colleges as per their schedule.

    About the CEED 2026 exam 

    CEED full form stands for Common Entrance Exam for Design, which is a national-level examination conducted by IIT Bombay for postgraduate design admissions into various institutions. CEED score is accepted by many colleges offering MDes programmes.  CEED exam 2026 comprises of two parts, such as Part A, which is for 150 marks, and Part-B for 100 marks. 

    CEED Part A consists of numerical answer-type questions, objective-type questions, and multiple choice questions,  while Part B consists of 5 questions. The weightage of CEED part A and part B are 25% and 75% respectively. Candidates who are interested in M.Des design course in IITs need to appear for CEED entrance exam 2026 and attain the required cutoff to get admission in desired course.

    CEED Common Entrance Examination for Design (session 2026)

    IIT Bombay has released the CEED cutoff 2026 for part A at ceed.iitb.ac.in on February 5. The CEED 2026 cutoff marks for Part-A is in the form of mean and standard deviation which are 39.35 and 16.89 respectively. The CEED cutoff is the minimum score that determines the eligibility of the candidate for admission for the design programme in the top design institution. The CEED cutoff scores vary every year for different categories.

    Candidates aspiring to apply for the CEED 2026 exam need to satisfy the CEED exam eligibility criteria specified by the conducting body. Candidates can check the CEED eligibility criteria 2026 from the list below: 

    • Applicants must have completed a graduate degree/diploma/postgraduate degree of minimum 3 years after intermediate or 12th standard are eligible for CEED exam. 
    • Students who are appearing for the final year examination by July 2026 are also eligible to apply for the exam. 
    • Candidates who qualified the GD arts diploma programme (10+5) by July 2026 of the academic year. 
    • There is no age limit to appear for CEED exam.
    •  A candidate can appear for CEED test any number of times.

    Note: The eligibility criteria for admission to various institutes may differ from those who are appearing for CEED exam. Before applying for CEED, candidates must check whether they meet the required eligibility criteria for admission to various institutes. There is no age limit to appear for CEED entrance exam. Also, a candidate can appear for CEED any number of times.

    IIT Bombay CEED application form was closed with regular fee on November 5, 2025. Candidates could submit CEED Application form 2026 with a late fee of Rs.500 between November 6 and November 10, 2025. Candidates are advised check the eligibility criteria of CEED 2026 exam before filling the CEED application form. While filling the CEED application form, the applicants have to make the online payment of application fee according to the category they belong to.

    CEED exam pattern 2026 will be prescribed by the conducting body, IIT Bombay at ceed.iitb.ac.in. With the help of the CEED 2026 exam pattern, candidates need to familiarise themselves with the CEED syllabus. The CEED entrance exam 2026 consists of two parts. CEED exam 2026 Part A is a computer based test and part B is the pen and paper mode. Candidates can know the details like type of question asked in the exam, difficulty level of the exam, topics and sections included in the exam, duration of the exam and many more.

    CEED Part A contains three types of questions such as Numerical Answer Type (NAT),  Multiple Choice Question (MCQ), and Multiple Select Question (MSQ).  CEED part A question papers consists of following topics such as:

Candidates must carry the admit card along with an ID proof to the CEED exam centre to be able to appear for the exam.

    How to download the CEED 2026 admit card? 

    Candidates who successfully completed the CEED 2026 registration form can download the CEED hall ticket by following the steps below:

    • Go to the CEED official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in.
    • Find and click the ‘CEED admit card 2026’ tab 
    • Use the login credentials such as registered email id and password
    • The screen will be displayed with CEED admit card 
    • Take 2-3 copies of the CEED admit card for further references.

    IIT Bombay has released the CEED 2026 final answer key on January 28, 2026. It had earlier released the CEED 2026 draft answer key for Part A on January 20, 2026. After the release of the CEED draft 2026 answer key, the authorities will released the objection window. The last date to upload the comments, if any, against the draft answer key for part-A through the candidate's portal was January 22, 2026. 

    The CEED 2026 answer key is an essential resource for candidates who appear for the CEED entrance exam 2026. After the release of the CEED final answer key, the authorities will declare the CEED results 2026.
