CEED 2019 cutoff (Minimum % of marks required to get shortlisted)

CEED 2019 Cutoff Part B

There will be a total of eight questions in part B, out of which question number one to five will be of 50 marks each. Test-takers will be required to attempt any one of these. The responses will be evaluated manually, and a normalised score ‘S’ will be calculated by using this formula-

S = {(m − μi) Σ / σi} + A

  • m= is the raw marks obtained in question i

  • μi = the average of the raw marks secured by all candidates who attempted question i

  • σi = the standard deviation of the raw marks secured by all candidates who attempted question i

  • A = 25 and Σ = 6 are chosen to be the average and the standard deviation, respectively, of the distribution of scores ‘S’. If the calculated ‘S’ score for any candidates is less than 0, then all such scores will be capped at 0, and if the calculated ‘S’ score for any candidate is more than 50, then all such scores will be capped at 50.

Marks secured by the candidate in other questions in part B will be added to ‘S’ for obtaining the part B score.
