About CEED Exam

The Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a national-level examination conducted by IIT Bombay and is designed to assess the skills and knowledge of students aspiring to pursue postgraduate studies in design at premier institutes in India.

The CEED 2026 result has been declared online on March 4 at ceed.iitb.ac.in by IIT Bombay. The CEED results 2026 can be checked by logging into the official website with the allotted login credentials. The CEED 2026 scorecard is available for download from March 10 to July 31. The scorecard will be valid for admission in the current academic year only.

When is CEED Exam 2026?

CEED 2026 exam was conducted on January 18, 2026 in online mode. IIT Bombay will conduct the CEED exam simultaneously at all the designated exam centres on the same day.

CEED Eligibility Criteria 2026

The authorities released the CEED eligibility criteria 2026 through the official brochure at its web portal - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The CEED 2026 eligibility criteria will verify the candidate's academic background and skills to appear for the entrance exam. The eligibility criteria for CEED 2026 is mentioned below:

• Candidates must have completed a graduate degree/diploma/postgraduate degree program of a minimum of three years (after 10+2 level)
• (or) must be appearing for the final examination of such a program by July 2026,
• (or) must have passed the GD Arts diploma program (10+5 level) by July 2026.
• There is no age limit to appear for CEED
• Candidates can appear for CEED any number of times

CEED Application Form 2026

The CEED Application form 2026 no longer accepts applications and has been closed on November 10, 2025. The CEED Application 2026 form has closed submissions with a regular fee on November 5, 2025. IIT Bombay released the CEED 2026 application form on its official website- ceed.iitb.ac.in on October 1, 2025. It is important for the candidates to have checked the CEED 2026 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form so as not to face any disqualification. • Visit the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in
• Click on the registration link and get yourself registered by providing the required details
• Click on the submit button
• Go to the CEED 2026 application form link and enter the login credentials

• Select the CEED 2026 exam centre

CEED 2026 Syllabus

• Observation and design sensitivity. Capacity to detect concealed properties in day-to-day life and think critically about them. Attention to detail, classification, analysis, inference, and prediction
• Environment and society: General awareness of environmental, social, and cultural connections with design.
• Analytical and logical reasoning: Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information.
• Language: Proficiency in reading and comprehending Standard English
• Creativity. Grasp verbal and non-verbal analogies, metaphors, signs, and symbols.
• Art and Design knowledge: Awareness about art/artefact/product, artists/designers, art/design history, and trends.
• Design methods and practices. Knowledge of media, materials, production processes, and ergonomics

CEED Syllabus - Part B

• Drawing Ability to draw products, people, or scenes in proportion with good line quality, composition, proportion, perspective, and shading.
• Creativity: Capacity to think out of the box and come up with unique as well as diverse solutions.
• Communication: Skills to communicate concepts and ideas clearly with the help of text and visuals
• Problem identification: Capability to understand the user and the context, knowledge of properties of materials, and their appropriate use in design.

CEED Best Books 2026

CEED 2026 Admit card

IIT Bombay issued the CEED admit card 2026 online. Candidates need to login using their allotted login credentials to download the CEED 2026 admit card. The CEED admit card has been released in online mode on January 2, 2026. The CEED admit card 2026 consists of details such as the candidate's name, exam date and time, exam venue and instructions to the candidates. The applicants have to download the CEED 2026 admit card online and take a printout of the same. The students must carry the CEED admit card 2026 to the examination hall on the day of entrance exam.

CEED Answer Key 2026

The IIT Bombay released the CEED 2026 answer key (draft) online on January 20. 2026. The CEED answer key 2026 helps the candidates to calculate their estimated scores. Also, the students were allowed to raise objections if any, towards the CEED 2026 answer key by January 22, 2026. Based on the objections received, the authorities released the CEED 2026 final answer key on January 28.
