CEED 2026 results has been announced by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay in online mode on March 4, 2026. CEED 2026 result will be announced on the official website- ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for the CEED entrance exam can check their results by using their credentials. After the declaration of results, candidates can download the CEED scorecard from the official website from March 10, 2026, onwards. There is no centralised counselling for IIT MDes admissions. Each institute will notify its admission schedule separately. Earlier, CEED 2026 was held on January 18, 2026.
After the CEED result has been declared, the CEED 2026 scorecard will be available for download from March 10 till July 31. It will be valid for one year from the declaration of CEED result. Post declaration of CEED result, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the further round of the selection process for M.Des programmes of IITs and other participating institutes.

IIT Bombay has released the CEED 2026 cutoff for part A on February 5, 2026. The CEED cutoff has been released in the form of mean and standard deviation. Those who secured fewer marks than the CEED cutoff are not eligible for the further admission process at the CEED participating institutes. Candidates are required to score at least minimum marks of above the CEED cutoff to qualify for admission.
Post CEED exam result, scorecard will be available for downlaod at ceed.iitb.ac.in through candidate’s login. The CEED scorecard will be available online only. No hard copy of CEED scorecard will be sent to candidates residence.
The CEED part A marks will be declared for all the candidates who have successfully appeared for the CEED exam and the part B marks will only be declared for the candidates who are shortlisted. All the shortlisted candidates will secure a rank and their names will appear in the rank list.
CEED part B includes subjective evaluation and there is no model solution. Part B is evaluated holistically depending on the criteria that is mentioned in the question paper. The CEED answer booklet for part B which is evaluated will not be sent to the candidates.
Note- There is no provision for re-evaluation for CEED part A and part B. Requests for re-evaluation by the candidates will not be considered.
Candidates will be able to access the CEED scorecard in online mode only. Candidates can use their CEED credentials to download the scorecard. Candidates can refer to the following steps while downloading the CEED scorecard.
