Questions related to UCEED

Hello Yogesh,

To secure admission to the B.Des (Bachelor of Design) program at IIT Bombay through the UCEED (Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design), you generally need to score highly, as IIT Bombay is among the top choices for design aspirants in India. Here’s a general overview:

  1. UCEED Score Requirements : Admission scores vary yearly depending on factors like the number of applicants and difficulty of the UCEED exam. In recent years, candidates aiming for IIT Bombay typically needed a UCEED rank within the top 40-50 for a strong chance of admission, which often corresponds to scores around 180-220 marks or higher (out of 300).

  2. Category-wise Cutoff : Cutoffs differ by category (General, OBC, SC/ST, EWS). General category candidates typically need higher scores than reserved category candidates, where the ranks may range a bit lower to secure a seat.

  3. Admission Process : After the UCEED results, shortlisted candidates participate in a counseling process, where they submit their preferences for IITs offering B.Des courses. Seats are then allocated based on rank and preference.

For the most accurate and updated details, keep an eye on the UCEED official website and IIT Bombay's announcements.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you and wishing you all the best for your bright future.

Hello aspirant,

Looking at the previous year UCEED Cutoff in DTU (Delhi Technical University), you have decent to low chances to get admisison seat in DTU. Uceed examination is taken for total marks 300. Out of these total 300 marks youhave got 140 and you are a OBC category student. For OBC category student in general 40th percentile marks is needed for qualifying in the UCEED examination. The previous year Cutoff says that in order to get admission in DTU, for the lowest branch you have to score 150-180 and for the highest branch you have to score 180-250 .

Further more, please note that the above mentioned cutoff and marks for UCEED is based totally on the previous year Cutoff and data, the actual marks and score for this year may vary as it vary for every year.

Further, to know more about the UCEED Cutoff for previous years you can follow the below mentioned link to know more : https://design.careers360.com/articles/uceed-cutoff

Good Luck!!

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing great...!!

You have a good chance of getting admission to DTU as the cutoff for DTU is around 300 till the last list.

Although cutoff varies with time, still there's a fair chance of you getting admission.

Delhi Technological University (DTU) was established in 1941. The university is accredited by the NAAC with an A grade and is also approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC). DTU ranked 36 for Engineering, 42 for University, and 54 for the Overall category by the NIRF 2021. DTU is counted amongst the oldest Engineering colleges in India. DTU currently offers more than 80 courses via its 17 departments. Out of these departments, the University School of Management and Entrepreneurship (USME) was established recently and is also known as the DTU East Delhi Campus.

I hope this helps you!

All the best:)

Dear student,

>>>You have not mentioned your Caste Category, so I'm considering it as General Category and providing information based on it.

>>>It is difficult to predict because cut-offs changes from year to year.

**Considering previous year's cut-off trends it is difficult for you to get seat in Top Universities of India. You can try for normal Colleges.

**Remember that cut-offs depends on many factors like number of seats available number of seats available, difficulty level of the exam, caste category, number of students appeared in the exam, etc.

For more information about UCEED previous year's cut-offs,  go through below mentioned link.

I hope this information was useful to you.

All The Best!!
