**The results cab be out anytime. On 2nd of January, 2022 the NID conducted NID DAT 2022 Prelims Exam in offline mode in 23 National Cities. 5000+ applications were received for the course B.Des which has 125 seats.

How to check NID DAT 2022 results ?

You can check NID DAT 2022 results in below mentioned Steps.

**Step 1: Visit NID official website i.e nid.edu.

**Step 2: In list of links click "NID DAT 2022 Result".

**Step 3: Now Enter valid Registration number and Date of birth on the new window opened.

**Step 4: After submitting the details, click on submit button.

**Step 5: On the screen NID DAT 2022 results will be displayed.

Step 6: Download NID DAT 2022 and take a printout of it for your future use.

Hi aspirant, the answer is YES, the thing is student portfolios help them to evaluate the skill in particular design techniques of the student. More often than not, it is also to understand how strongly you are inclined towards design and the particular design discipline you have applied to.

basically not only for B.Des but in every course you portfolio reflects you so if there is necessary(in some where it is not necessary) than you should make the portfolio if not than also you should make the portfolio for future perspective.

Aspiring candidates, however, can check the minimum qualifying percentile score required for admission to get an idea. Candidates will be shortlisted based on the cutoff marks for each category.

Portifolio is not the mandatory thing but the most important thing for interview .Because  portfolio is the thing that  make a good impact in the mind of interviewer before your verbal. 

On the other hand, you can  make a portfolio by considering few points as :

• A brief introduction about you, your profile, achievements, especially something that tells the interviewer about your design interests through either cover letter format or even personal statement
• Also, make sure to show a full range of abilities, including sketching, rendering, digital sketching/painting
• Any of the works made using Photoshop, finished products, photography, 3D-modelling, written documentation, 
• Water and oil color paintings
• A collection of some best captures taken by you (photographs) or any other alternatives, 
• Design case studies.

You can go for different design by searching them online or from some good professional portfolios sites.

And as you've asked the drawing section has 30 marks you have to draw and colour something according to the question as an answer in the provided displace. Commonly they ask 3/4 question in this section 

Based on your score of prelims eligible candidate shortlisted for DAT mains. Hi Harsh,

I'm afraid that the opportunity to apply for NID 2019 has already pased. Applications open in October/November of the previous year. The exams happen during this time.

You may try for next year.
