Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is a national level exam conducted by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay once in a year for the undergraduate students to offer design admission. UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2026

It is important for the candidates to check the UCEED 2026 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. A candidate, including a foreign national, must simultaneously fulfil every one of the following three UCEED exam eligibility criteria.

• Criterion 1- Age limit:

  • Candidates belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category should have been born on or after October 1, 2001, candidates belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category. Should have been born on or after October 1, 1996.

• Criterion 2- Number of attempts:

  • A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, and that too in consecutive years.

  • Note that the UCEED score is valid for one year and only for admissions in the same corresponding academic year.

• Criterion 3- Qualifying examination:

  • A candidate should have appeared for the Class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in either 2025 OR 2026 to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2026.

  • Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

  • Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination Class 12 in 2025 or earlier will not be eligible to appear in UCEED 2026.

UCEED Application Form 2026

The IIT Bombay UCEED 2026 registration form before the late fee submission closes on November 5, 2025 with a regular fee. The deadline to register with a late fee is November 10, 2025. Candidates can access the form on the official website- uceed.iitb.ac.in. Before filling out the application form, candidates should check the UCEED 2026 eligibility criteria so as not to face any disqualification. • Click on the registration link

• Fill in the required information such as name, mobile number, email address

• Click on the submit button

• Go to the UCEED 2026 application form link and enter the login credentials

• Fill in required details such as

  • Mobile number

  • Email ID

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

• Select the UCEED 2026 exam centre

UCEED 2026 Admit card

IIT Bombay will issue the UCEED admit card 2026 online on January 2, 2026. Candidates need to login using their allotted login credentials to download the UCEED 2026 admit card. The UCEED admit card 2026 consists of details such as the candidate's name, exam date and time, exam venue and instructions to the candidates. The students have to download the UCEED 2026 admit card online and take a print of the same. It is mandatory for the students to carry it to the examination hall on the day of UCEED exam.

UCEED Answer Key 2026

The IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2026 draft answer key online on January 20, 2026. The UCEED answer key 2026 helps the candidates calculate their scores. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections if any towards the UCEED 2026 answer key till January 22, 2026. Based on the objections received, the final answer key of UCEED 2026 will be released on January 28, 2026.

UCEED Result 2026

IIT Bombay will declare the UCEED 2026 results on March 6, 2026 online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED results 2026 can be checked by logging into the official website and by clicking on the result link that will be provided. Students need to check the UCEED results using their login details and download the same for further admission process. The UCEED 2026 scorecard will be available for download from March 10, 2026 till July 31, 2026.

UCEED 2026 Counselling

IIT Bombay has notified the UCEED counselling 2026 schedule online. The shortlisted candidates need to appear for UCEED 2026 counselling as per the allotted dates. UCEED counselling process will be of approximately 4-5 rounds and involves registration, choice filling, seat acceptance and admission fee payment, etc.examinationUCEED 2026 entrance examination.
