About UCEED Entrance Exam

Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED) is a national-level exam conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay once a year for UG design admission. IIT Bombay has declared the UCEED 2026 results on March 6, 2026, online at uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED 2026 scorecard is available for download from March 10, 2026 till June 11, 2026. The UCEED results 2026 can be checked by logging into the official website and by clicking on the result link that will be provided. Students need to check the UCEED results using their login details and download the same for further admission process.

UCEED 2026 Counselling

IIT Bombay has notified the UCEED counselling 2026 schedule online. The shortlisted candidates need to appear for UCEED 2026 counselling as per the allotted dates. UCEED counselling process will be of approximately 4-5 rounds and involves registration, choice filling, seat acceptance and admission fee payment, etc.examinationUCEED 2026 entrance examination. The B.Des application forms will be available from March 14 till April 10, 2026. The first seat allotment will be out on April 21, 2026.

UCEED Eligibility Criteria 2026

It is important for the candidates to check the UCEED 2026 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. A candidate, including a foreign national, must simultaneously fulfil every one of the following three UCEED exam eligibility criteria.

• Criterion 1- Age limit:

  • Candidates belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category should have been born on or after October 1, 2001, candidates belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category. Should have been born on or after October 1, 1996.

• Criterion 2- Number of attempts:

  • A candidate can attempt UCEED a maximum of two times, and that too in consecutive years.

  • Note that the UCEED score is valid for one year and only for admissions in the same corresponding academic year.

• Criterion 3- Qualifying examination:

  • A candidate should have appeared for the Class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in either 2025 OR 2026 to be eligible for attempting UCEED 2026.

  • Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible.

  • Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination Class 12 in 2025 or earlier will not be eligible to appear in UCEED 2026.

UCEED Application Form 2026

The IIT Bombay UCEED 2026 registration form with a late fee closed on November 10, 2025. Candidates were allowed to submit the form on the official website- uceed.iitb.ac.in. The UCEED 2026 application form with a regular fee closed on November 5, 2025. Below are the steps to fill out the UCEED registration form 2026:

• Click on the registration link
• Fill in the required information such as name, mobile number, email address
• Click on the submit button
• Go to the UCEED 2026 application form link and enter the login credentials

  • Gender

  • Date of birth

  • Communication address

• Select the UCEED 2026 exam centre

UCEED 2026 Admit card

IIT Bombay issued the UCEED admit card 2026 online on January 2, 2026. Candidates need to login using their allotted login credentials to download the UCEED 2026 admit card. The deadline to correct any discrpancies in the UCEED 2026 admit card was January 8, 2026, by 5 pm. The UCEED admit card 2026 consists of details such as the candidate's name, exam date and time, exam venue, and instructions to the candidates. The students have to download the UCEED 2026 admit card online and take a print of the same. The students must carry it to the examination hall on the day of UCEED exam.

UCEED Answer Key 2026
