NIFT 2027 Exam Timings
The NIFT exam consists of two components: GAT and CAT. Candidates have to appear for one or both, depending upon the programme in which they wish to seek admission. The timings for NIFT 2027 will be provided in the admit card. The table given below provides the timings as per the trends seen last year.

Given below are all the dates for all the important events for the NIFT entrance exam 2027.
NIFT 2027 Notification Date
NIFT will release the NIFT notification 2027 online tentatively in the second week of December 2026. The NIFT 2027 notification contains all details about the exam, including the schedule, important instructions and guidelines, participating institutes, and more.
NIFT Application Form 2027 Date
The National Testing Agency will open the NIFT application form 2027 tentatively in December 2026. Interested candidates can submit the application form online on NTA's official website before the deadline. The authorities will notify separate application deadlines with and without a late fee. The candidates have to make payment as per the fee specified for different categories and upload the required documents to complete the NIFT registration.
NIFT 2027 Application Form Correction Date
The authorities will open the application form correction window after closing the registrations. The candidates who wish to make any changes to the application form can use this correction window to update the particulars in the application form. No changes are allowed after the correction window closure.
NIFT 2027 City Intimation Slip Release Date
NTA will release the NIFT 2027 stage 1 city intimation slip tentatively 10 days before the exam, on their official website. Candidates can download the city intimation slip through their login. The advance city intimation slip of NIFT 2027 will include details about the city where the candidate's allotted exam centre is located. The NIFT city intimation slip is different from the admit card.
NIFT 2027 Admit Card Date
NTA will issue the NIFT 2027 stage 1 admit card tentatively 3-4 days before the exam. The registered candidates can download the NIFT admit card using their login credentials. The admit card is a mandatory document to appear for the exam. It contains important details such as the candidate's name, application number, roll number, exam date and time, exam centre details, and instructions for the exam.
NIFT Exam Date 2027
NTA will conduct the NIFT entrance examination in the second week of February 8. The NIFT entrance test will have the CAT (Creative Ability Test) and GAT (General Ability Test) as per the applicable programme. Candidates preparing for the entrance exam were advised to check the NIFT syllabus as per the programme they have applied for.

NIFT Answer Key Date 2027
The National Testing Agency(NTA) will release the NIFT 2027 answer key after the exam. After the NIFT provisional answer key is released, candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the answer key with a specific fee. After considering the valid objections, authorities will release the NIFT 2027 final answer key.
NIFT 2027 Entrance Exam Result Date
NIFT 2027 result for stage 1 will be declared tentatively in March 2027. Candidates can check the NIFT results online with their login credentials. Candidates shortlisted in the NIFT stage 1 results will be called to participate in the next round, which will be a situation test for BDes or an interview round for NIFT PG programmes.
NIFT 2027 Stage 2 Dates
The candidates who are shortlisted from the NIFT entrance exam are eligible to participate in NIFT Stage 2. NTA will conduct the NIFT situation test tentatively in April 2027. The NIFT stage 2 admit card for the situation test will have the exam date and timings.

NIFT 2027 Final Result Date
The NIFT 2027 final result will be declared tentatively in June 2027 on its official website. The NIFT 2027 final result will be declared based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the NIFT entrance exam and the NIFT situation test as per the prescribed weightage. Shortlisted candidates in the final result of NIFT 2027 will be eligible to register for the counselling process.
NIFT 2027 Counselling Date
The NIFT counselling dates will be notified on the official websites - nift.ac.in and nift.admissions.nic.in. Candidates will be required to register for NIFT counselling online, upload their documents for verification, and provide college choices. The NIFT seat allotment will be done as per the candidates' ranks and choices filled by them.
