UCEED Admission 2025: Result Date (March 7), Cutoff, Selection Process

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay conducted the IIT BDes entrance exam on January 19, 2025. As per UCEED 2025 admission dates, results for Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design will be announced on March 7 at uceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates to use their login credentials such as registered email Id and password to download the UCEED result 2025. Candidates who wish to get BDesign admission in IITs have to qualify the UCEED entrance exam.

UCEED Admission Selection Process

If the students qualify the UCEED exam, and have a good rank above the cut off they can take admission into the following Indian Institute of Technology campuses - IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, IIIT DM Jabalpur, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee. However, apart from IITs, there are many other design colleges in India accepting UCEED score. Aspirants must also fulfil the eligibility criteria to get admissions into these colleges. The students have to qualify the UCEED 2025 exam and fulfil the minimum educational qualification of 10 + 2 level or equivalent.

UCEED Admission Portal 2025

The UCEED admission portal is created once the application process is done. The students can login to the portal using their login credentials and check the current updates of the exam. The students can find the admit card details, results and other subsequent details on the dashboard of the admission portal.

UCEED Entrance Exam 2025

The UCEED entrance exam or IITs BDes entrance test was conducted for 3 hours to test the students' design aptitude and drawing skills. IIT Bombay conducts the UCEED entrance exam every year to select the students for B.Des admission. Once the result of UCEED admission test is out, candidates who qualify the entrance exam have to participate in the counselling process.

UCEED Admission Cutoff

The cut off for various IITs should be known to the students as it will help them estimate if they can qualify for the seat or not. The UCEED cut off for round three in the IITs across India are given below for the year 2023.

UCEED Admission Procedure: Counselling

The UCEED counselling process will start after the result declaration. The counselling process will take place in an online mode. The students need to take the following steps for the UCEED counselling process:

• The students must have a valid UCEED rank followed by which they can register for the counselling process through the official website.

• The students need to login with their email id and create a password to fill out the application form for counselling.

• They must select their preference of Institute and fill in other personal details.

• They need to upload the documents such as photograph, signature, UCEED scorecard, qualifying examination scorecard, caste, or tribe certificate etc.

• A payment of Rs. 4000 needs to be made as counselling fee.

• Once the application form is submitted, they need to take a printout of the same for future reference.

UCEED Admission Allotment 2025

The UCEED seat allotment of the candidates will be done on the basis of all India rank that they have obtained. The candidates will be sent professional allotment letters through their email id and they will be directed to an online payment system in order for them to pay the seat acceptance fee which is Rs. 60,000 for General, EWS, OBC NCL and Rs 15,000 for SC, ST and PWD. The students who have not paid the seat acceptance fee will be declined admission.

In the first round of the UCEED seat allotment the students can either accept (freeze) aur decline it. If the students choose to decline it, they won't be able to participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling. In the second, third, fourth or fifth round of counselling the candidates will be given a freeze/float option. If the candidates choose the freeze option it means that they have accepted the offer, and if they choose the float option it means that they are willing to accept the higher preference.

The UCEED admission process into various IITs and other colleges accepting UCEED marks can be checked below. Here is a detailed UCEED admission process given step wise that the students can follow.

• The students must fulfil the required UCEED admission eligibility which includes age requirements, minimum educational qualification, along with stream specifications.

• The students must fill up the admission form of UCEED before the deadline along with all the correct details and relevant documents. The students must make a UCEED admission form fee payment without which their admission form will not be accepted.

• The students must prepare for the UCEED entrance exam and secure a rank above the cutoff of the college that they want to take admission in.

• The students who have qualified the UCEED entrance exam must sit for the counselling process. The students must register for the counselling process and upload their preferences of institution along with documents required. The students also need to pay Rs. 4000 to complete the registration.

• After the UCEED counselling process is over the students who are allotted the seats need to pay the seat acceptance fee and further pay the UCEED admission fee to ensure that their seat is secure.

UCEED Admission Eligibility 2025

Students who want to take admissions into the IIT must fulfil certain UCEED admission eligibility criteria. The UCEED admission criteria was released along with the notification for the UCEED application 2025. The UCEED admission criteria include the student's minimum educational qualification and age limit. The UCEED Admission Criteria are listed below:

• The students should be under the age of 25 on the first October of the year of admission.

• The candidate should have qualified the UCEED and must have a valid rank.

• The students are allowed to appear the exam only twice within 2 years of qualifying 12th class.

• These students must have qualified the 10 + 2 level of examination or equivalent.

• The students who want admissions into IIITDM Jabalpur must have physics chemistry mathematics/biology in the 10 + 2. The students who want admissions into IIT Guwahati and IIT Roorkee must be from science stream with physics, chemistry, and mathematics as compulsory subjects. IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad accept students from all streams.

UCEED Admission Form 2025

The UCEED application process included registration of the students for the exam, appearing the exam, and qualifying it followed by a counselling process. The students must follow the steps given below in order to complete their UCEED admission form.

• The students must visit the official website of UCEED.

• They need to fill out the details such as the candidates name mobile number and email address

• The students need to give additional details such as address educational qualifications, parents' name and personal details.

• Relevant documents which include recent passport size photograph, signature, educational qualification, certificate of caste/tribe/PwD certificate etc should be provided.

• After the completion of uploading the documents, the students need to pay the UCEED admission fee for application using net banking/debit card/credit card etc. Without the payment of the application form the UCEED admission form is invalid.

• After the UCEED admission form is completely filled out the students must submit it and download it for further reference.
