The UCEED result evaluation criteria lay down the framework for how the UCEED 2026 result will be prepared, and the candidates will be offered admission through UCEED 2026. The UCEED 2026 result will be declared on March 6, 2026. In this article, get the UCEED 2026 result evaluation criteria.
To be considered for selection, candidates have to appear and qualify both parts of the UCEED entrance exam. Shortlisted candidates must register for UCEED counselling, which will be conducted in five rounds to offer seat allotment. The UCEED entrance exam was conducted on January 18, 2026.
The UCEED 2026 exam consists of two parts - Part A and Part B. Only those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks for Part A will be evaluated for Part B. The UCEED 2026 result is declared after adding the candidate’s marks in both parts of the exam. All shortlisted candidates will get a UCEED 2026 rank. According to candidates reactions, the exam was rather easy, which leads to the possibility of higher cutoffs.
Part of UCEED is an online objective-type test. The UCEED result for Part A will be evaluated as follows:
There is no provision for reexamining or retotalling the marks in UCEED 2026 Part A
Score in UCEED Part A will be used to shortlist candidates. The cut-off (?) for Part-A marks for the Open category will be ? + (?⁄2) = ?, where ? and ? are the average marks and standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by ALL the candidates in Part-A of UCEED 2026. The ?, ?, and ? will be rounded off to two decimal places. The candidates belonging to the reserved categories have relaxed cut-offs, which will be 0.9? for OBC-NCL/EWS, 0.5? for SC/ST/PwD, where ? is the cut-off mark for the Open category
Candidates who fail to obtain the minimum qualifying cut-off for Part A will not be evaluated for Part B
The UCEED 2026 question paper and draft answer key for Part A will be released on the official website.
Candidates will be allowed to submit their comments and objections for the UCEED 2026 Part A draft answer key.
The candidate’s response sheet for Part A will be available for download till the declaration of the UCEED result, after which it will be removed from the website.
Part B of UCEED is a subjective paper consisting of drawing and sketching questions, which is answered offline. The UCEED result for Part A will be evaluated as follows:
There is no model solution for Part B, and it will be evaluated holistically
Part B of those candidates who fail to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Part A will not be evaluated.
There is no provision for retotalling or reexamining the Part answer sheet.
The authorities will not share the evaluated answer booklets of Part B with the candidates
The UCEED Part B answer booklets will be preserved for three months after the declaration of the UCEED result.
Two experts will manually evaluate the UCEED Part B answers independently. The scheme of evaluation for the questions is as follows -
If the difference in marks awarded by the two evaluators is less than or equal to 10 marks, a simple average of the two evaluations will be considered.
If the difference is greater than 10 marks, the answer sheet of Part B will be examined by a third expert (and so on until the difference of marks is less than or equal to 10).
A simple average of the closest of two evaluations will be selected as the final score
If the difference in marks of the closest of two evaluations is greater than 10 after several evaluations, a moderator will be invited to examine the answers
If the difference in marks between the moderator and either of the examiners is the same, then the higher average will be considered to calculate the final score.
