FDDI AIST Counselling 2019 - The Footwear Design and Development Institute is conducting FDDI AIST 2019 counselling from June 29 to July 2, 2019. The authorities already released the list of merit rank holders who have to report to FDDI, Noida campus on the specified date, along with the relevant document. Candidates can check the link below to know the details. Earlier the FDDI AIST counselling 2019 was supposed to take place from June 21 to 25, 2019. The counselling of FDDI AIST involves programme and campus allotment to qualified candidates depending on their rank and merit in the entrance exam. The FDDI AIST entrance exam will allot 1980 seats to students in B.Des programmes in its 12 institutes across country. Students who will be allotted seats will have to pay Rs. 25,000 immediately after the counselling of FDDI AIST to reserve the seats. The amount includes Rs. 20,000 as an advance fee which will be adjusted against the balance fee and Rs. 5000 as counselling charges. Candidates will be given seven working days to deposit the balance fee. They must note that the counselling charges paid will not be refunded if candidates want to withdraw from admission. Steps for FDDI AIST 2019 Counselling
Candidates will have to undergo the following steps to participate in FDDI AIST counselling and seat allotment. The FDDI counselling process involves seat, campus allotment and verification of documents.
Step 1 - Online Registration
Students have to register in online mode to participate in FDDI AIST counselling and seat allotment.
Step 2- Online Choice Filling
Students have to fill their choice for the programmes and campus. The qualified candidates will be called for the counselling based on their rank and preference for their campus and programme
Step 3 - Seat Allotment
Students will be allotted seats depending on the availability of seats, merit and preference mentioned by them at the time of registration. The FDDI AIST counselling will continue till the last seat is filled. Only 1980 seats are offered across the 12 campuses. The FDDI AIST counselling will be held in two rounds.
Step 4 - Payment and Acceptance of Fee
Students who will be allotted seats will have to pay Rs. 25000 on the spot after the counselling of FDDI AIST to reserve the seats. The amount submitted for the counselling which is Rs. 5000 will not be refunded in case any students wish to withdraw.
Step 5 - Verification of Documents
Candidates need to produce the following documents for the verification purpose. Candidate have to visit the nearest FDDI campus carrying all originals and one set of self-attested documents.
Class 10 certificate & mark sheet attested by gazetted officer
Class 12 certificate & mark sheet attested by gazetted officer
Medical fitness certificate certified by registered MBBS doctor
Demand draft of Rs. 25,000/- in favor of “FDDI” payable at New Delhi from any bank
Character certificate from the principal of last attended school/college or any gazetted officer
Two recent passport size colored photographs
Caste certificate/disability certificate (if applicable)
Candidates who fall under SC/ST/OBC quota (non creamy layer) have to produce a caste certificate issued not earlier than September 1, 2018 from the competent authority of the respective states/union territories. Those who won’t be able to produce appropriate certificate will not deemed eligible for admission
Step - 6 Final Reporting at the Allotted Campus
Post verification, candidates will have to report at the allotted institute and pay the balance fees to confirm the admission.
FDDI AIST Counselling 2019 Important Details
Students must know that number of candidates invited for counselling will be more than number of seats offered. Chances, therefore, are high that seats may get filled before the completion of the counselling.
FDDI has the right to change the campus or programme is there are less than 10 students for that particular programme at the campus. Students, subsequently, will have to pay fee and other charges depending on that specific programme or campus.
Differently abled candidates are required to produce the original certificate of disability issued by medical authority.
At the time FDDI AIST counselling, the presence of person with disability is mandatory to allocate the course and campus
As the courses need specific and psychological skills, it will be allotted to differently abled candidates only after their assessment , which is done to check their capabilities.
Such students should come prepared for the evaluation at the time of counselling.
Note - Institute will not be accountable for any inconvenience caused to parents or students by virtue of closure of the counselling before their turn.
