IIT Bombay will release the UCEED 2026 scorecard on its official website on March 10, 2026. UCEED 2026 Result: How are the scores evaluated?

The UCEED exam will be conducted in two parts - Part A and Part B. UCEED 2026 exam Part-A will be a computer-based test. There will be NO scope for review or re-totalling of the Part-A exam marks. Part B consists of two questions that will be evaluated manually by the examiners.

UCEED 2026 - Part B is a subjective question, and no model exists for it. The evaluation will be done based on the criteria in the given question. The UCEED total is calculated by adding the marks obtained in Part-A and Part-B. This total score will be used to prepare the UCEED final result/rank.

UCEED Exam Result 2026: Part-B Evaluation

The evaluation of UCEED 2026 Part-B will be done manually by a minimum of two expert evaluators separately.

• If the difference <= 10 marks (10%), a simple average of the two evaluations will be considered.
• If the difference > 10 marks (10%), the answer sheet of Part-B will be evaluated by a third expert examiner (and so on until the difference <= 10).
• A simple average of the closest of two evaluations will be selected as the final marks.
• If the difference in marks of the closest of two evaluations is >10 after several evaluations, a moderator will be invited to examine the answers.
• If the difference in marks between the moderator and either of the examiners is the same, then the higher average will be considered for calculating the score.

• Candidates need to use their user UCEED login Id and password to check the UCEED 2026 result.
• All shortlisted candidates will be issued a common merit rank (All India Rank).
• Obtaining a rank in UCEED 2026 does not guarantee admission to the desired programme.
• All the aspirants who appeared in UCEED 2026 need to download their scorecard from the official website according to the schedule.
• Candidates will not receive the UCEED score card either through post or mail.

UCEED 2026 Result: Marks Revaluation

IIT Bombay, through its UCEED official brochure, notifies that there will be no provision for revaluation or re-totalling in UCEED results. Request for re-evaluation/re-totalling of the UCEED exam result will not be entertained under any circumstances. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained.

UCEED 2026 Rank List

IIT Bombay releases the UCEED rank list 2026 along with the results. The rank list of UCEED is prepared based on the total marks (Part-A marks and Part-B marks combined) scored by the candidates. The students can check their provisional category-wise rank list using the UCEED 2026 results.

UCEED Result 2026: Tie-Breaker

In case, two or more candidates secure the same marks in the exam, a tie-break policy will be used for awarding UCEED ranks to the candidates, which are as follows.

• A higher rank is awarded to the candidate who secures more marks in Part B of the exam

• In case the tie does not resolve, a higher rank is given to a candidate who obtains more marks in Section 2 of Part A.

• If the above two points do not break the tie, a higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Section 1 of Part A.

• In case the tie still exists, candidates are awarded the same rank.

Candidates must note that securing a rank in the UCEED exam does not guarantee admission to the B.Design course. Aspirants who make it to the UCEED merit list can participate in the seat allocation process/counselling.

UCEED 2026 Result: Admission Criteria at IITs

Candidates need to meet the required admission criteria that will be released by IITs. Aspirants should note that attaining a rank does not guarantee admission to the UCEED participating colleges. Apart from qualifying UCEED 2026 entrance exam, the students should also meet the following criteria:

Age Criteria: Candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 2001, if belonging to the OPEN/EWS/OBC-NCL category and on or after October 1, 1996, if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category.

Qualifying examination: The candidate should have passed all five subjects in the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2025 or 2026. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2024 or earlier will not be eligible.

Compulsory subject: Candidates from the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects are eligible to apply to all six participating institutes (IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur). Candidates from any other stream (Science without Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry, Commerce, and Arts & Humanities) are eligible to apply to IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, and IIT Hyderabad. For admission to BDes at IIITDM Jabalpur, only students with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology at 10+2 can apply.

The authorities will release the UCEED 2026 toppers list online after the result declaration. However, candidates can check the UCEED topper list as per UCEED 2025. Mr. Shreyansh Agarwal, who got the top Common Rank List (CRL), received 230.16 marks out of 300.

What After the UCEED 2026 Result?

The IIT Bombay will release the UCEED counselling schedule after the declaration of UCEED result 2026. The shortlisted candidates will have to register and appear for the counselling process. Once UCEED counselling is over, IIT Bombay will release the admission lists containing the candidate's names who will be shortlisted for admission into the colleges accepting UCEED ranks/scores.
