Symbiosis Institute of Design has published the SEED 2026 notification on its official website - sid.edu.in. The SEED 2026 registrations opened on August 1, 2025. Candidates can submit the SEED 2026 application form online till November 30, 2025. The SEED 2026 registration fee is Rs 2250 for the exam registration fee and an additional Rs 1000 programme registration fee. Candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to download the SEED 2026 admit card from the official website from January 5, 2026 onwards. The Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design will be conducted on January 11, 2026, in online mode for one hour between 10 am to 4 pm. The Symbiosis B.Des admission is conducted for admissions intothe BDes programme carrying 8 specializations across 2 disciplines, namely, Communication Design (CD) and Industrial Design (ID).

SEED 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The SEED 2026 eligibility criteria for the entrance exam is prescribed on the official website.

  • According to the SEED exam eligibility requirements, a candidate must have passed 10+2 (any stream; eg. Science, Commerce, Arts, etc.)

  • Or carry an equivalent 10+3 diploma approved by the State Board of Technical Education with minimum 50% (SC/ST: 45%) aggregate marks obtained in the final examination to be eligible for Symbiosis SEED 2026.

  • A candidate appearing for the final examination of 10+2 grade or 10+3 Diploma programme may also apply provided the results of the examination should have been declared by June of the admission year or prior to be eligible for SEED 2026.

SEED Admit Card 2026

Symbiosis Institute of Design will issue the SEED admit card 2026 on January 5, 2026 on its official website. Candidates who have completed their registrations will be able to download the admit card through their login.
