Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed or be appearing at the qualifying examination i.e., 10 + 2 or its equivalent, with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% for reserved category, EWS and PwD candidates).
Nationality: Candidates must be of Indian nationality.
MAH BDesign CET Eligibility Criteria age limit: There is no age limit for admission who are appearing to the MAH B Design CET 2026.
The MAH BDes CET eligibility criteria also include specific conditions for Maharashtra State Candidature. Candidates can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature, from Type A to E.
For Type-A: Candidates must have passed both SSC and also HSC from a recognized institution in the Maharashtra State.
Candidates must be either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or born in Maharashtra.
Type-B: Candidates who do not fall in Type-A, but who or whose Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possess a Domicile Certificate.
Type-C: Candidates who do not fall in either Type-A or Type-B, but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government Of India Undertaking who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP.
Type-D: Candidates who do not fall in any of the above Type-A, Type B, and Type-C, but whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of The Government Of Maharashtra Or Government Of Maharashtra Undertaking.
Type-E: Candidates passing SSC And/Or HSC Examination from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose mother tongue is Marathi.
Note: Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian Workers in Gulf Countries, and Foreign Nationals are granted an exemption from appearing for MAH BDesign CET.
