The full form of FDDI is Footwear Design and Development Institute is a premier design government institute offering courses with specialization in Footwear Design & Production (FDP), Fashion Design for both B.Des and M.Des programmes and for B.Des there is a specialization in Leather, Lifestyle & Product Design (LLPD) as well. Every year there are thousands of aspirants who want to pursue the design course for B.Des or M.Des programmes from FDDI.

Aspirants who want to enroll into FDDI institute of Design must fulfil the following FDDI AIST eligibility criteria:
Candidates must be passed 10+2 in any stream, from a recognized board or university in India.
To apply for a bachelor's programme, the candidate’s age limit must be 25 years as of July.
For a master's programme, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university or board.
There is no age limit to apply for a Master’s programme.
The FDDI institute will start the FDDI AIST registration 2026 in November, 2025. The FDDI AIST application form will be available on the official website - fddiindia.com. The candidates need to pay the FDDI AIST registration fee for the application form which will be non-refundable. Before applying, candidates must fulfill the FDDI AIST eligibility 2026 criteria. Navigate to the “Admission”.
Candidates must fill the FDDI AIST 2025 application form with the required documents such as, personal information, educational qualifications, Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC(NC) candidates) etc.
Image of the Scanned photograph must be in jpg/jpeg format, and the size should be less than 50 kb.

Pay the application fee as mentioned.
Submit, download and take a printout of the FDDI AIST 2026 application form for further process.
The FDDI AIST exam will be conducted once a year. The FDDI AIST 2026 will be conducted offline with a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes. The FDDI AIST 2026 admit card will be issued online at fddiindia.com. Candidates must download the FDDI AIST hall ticket. It is mandatory for candidates to bring the AIST 2026 admit card along with the valid photo identity proof to the examination hall. The FDDI AIST 2026 exam date is not yet announced. The FDDI AIST exam will be held in May, 2026 tentatively. Candidates must keep a track of the FDDI AIST notification to not miss any update. The AIST 2026 exam will be held offline in the FDDI AIST exam centres.
The authorities will declare the FDDI AIST 2026 result on the official website at fddiindia.com. The FDDI AIST results will be declared in June based on previous year. After declaration of the FDDI AIST results, candidates can find the marks obtained along with the rank that will be assigned to them. The qualified candidates can apply for the FDDI AIST counselling rounds.
The FDDI authorities will release the FDDI AIST cutoff 2026 with each round of seat allotment. The FDDI AIST 2026 cutoff will be released with each round of counselling. The FDDI AIST cutoff will include maximum and minimum marks that candidates need to score, in order to obtain admission into FDDI courses. The FDDI cutoff 2026 is expected to be released in July.
The FDDI AIST 2026 counselling will begin in June in online mode. The process of FDDI counselling includes candidates to fill in their choice of preference, pay the counselling fee, choose the specialisation and need to verify their documents before the deadline. The students must also pay the rest of the semester fees within the given time to secure their seat in the FDDI college.
