IIT Bombay, the conducting authority for the CEED Entrance Exam 2027, will release the CEED Entrance Exam syllabus through the Information Brochure at the official website. Candidates who intend to appear for CEED 2027 are advised to download and keep a copy of the CEED syllabus PDF. The CEED 2027 syllabus will help candidates strategise for their entrance exams since they can prepare well for different topics, sections, weightages and subject-wise questions. After the initial preparation, candidates can also try out the CEED Sample papers. The CEED entrance exam will be conducted tentatively in the middle of January 2027.

According to the prescribed CEED exam pattern and syllabus for CEED 2027, candidates will have to appear for two parts in the CEED exam, Part A and Part B. Given below are the details for the two parts.
Part-A:
Section 1: NAT (Numerical Answer Type)
Section 2: MSQ (Multiple Select Questions)
Section 3: MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions)
Part-B:
Part B consists of five questions to test design, drawing and writing skills.
The questions in Part B will be displayed on the computer screen, and the answers should be written in the answer book provided by the invigilator.

CEED Part A includes questions from topics like visualization and spatial reasoning, observation and design sensitivity, and more. Meanwhile, Part B with five questions aims to test the skills of the aspirants in drawing, creativity, communication, etc. Aspirants can check the table below for the Part A section of the CEED syllabus.
