CEED Result 2022 - Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay has announced the CEED 2022 result on March 8, 2022, in online mode. Aspiring students can check the CEED result 2022 at ceed.iitb.ac.in by entering their email ID and password. The candidates can download the CEED scorecard from the ‘Candidates Portal’ from March 12 and the download link will be available till June 14.
Students must note that the CEED scorecard 2022 will be provided to qualified candidates only. The scorecard of CEED 2022 is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the CEED result. CEED Scorecard 2022
IIT Bombay will release the CEED 2022 scorecard for the qualified candidates on March 12. Students must keep in mind that the concerned authority will not send the hard copy of the CEED scorecard individually via post/email. Candidates can only download the CEED scorecard 2022 from the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in.
CEED scorecard will be valid for a period of one year from the date of the announcement of the result. Students are advised to keep the scorecard safely as the participating institute will verify the category certificate, eligibility, and other relevant documents along with the CEED scorecard at the time of admission.

Other important points of CEED 2022 Result
CEED ranks will be given separately according to the categories. Check the following to know the details of CEED ranks.
1. Open Rank - This rank is given to the candidates whose marks in Part A and CEED score is equal to or greater than 38 and 30 respectively.
2. EWS Rank - This rank will be awarded to the EWS candidates of a general category. They will also get an open rank as there is no separate cutoff on marks for EWS.
3. SC/ST/OBC - NCL Rank - This rank will be given to candidates other than the general category as per their birth certificate. However, this rank will hold true only if the candidates submit the relevant original documents for verification at the time of admission. If students fail to produce the relevant document they will fall under the open category only if they secure the open rank.
4. Open PwD Rank - If the marks of the PwD candidates in Part A and the score of CEED are equal to or greater than 19 and 15 respectively, then they will be awarded Open PwD rank. This rank will hold true at the time of admission only if they submit the relevant original documents at the time of admission else they will fall under the open category if they get the open category rank and do not avail of the compensatory time.
Note - If they avail compensatory time, * will be marked in the scorecard against the PwD category.
5. OBC-NCL PwD Rank - The qualified PwD candidates of the OBC-NCL category will be awarded OBC-NCL PwD rank along with the open PwD rank if their marks in Part A and CEED score are equal to or greater than 34.2 and 27 respectively. However to consider this rank if they have to submit the relevant original documents at the time of admission for verification.
If candidates fail to produce the required documents then,
If OBC-NCL PwD candidates secure the rank of OBC-NCL and do not avail of the compensatory time, then they will be considered for the OBC-NCL category.
Again they can be considered for the Open PwD category if they have the Open PwD rank
If they get Open rank and did not avail compensatory time, then OBC-NCL PwD candidates can also be considered for the Open category.
If PwD candidates availed compensatory time, * will be marked in the scorecard against the PwD category.
6. SC/ST/PwD Rank - This rank will be given to the PwD candidates of SC/ST as per their birth category. However to consider SC/ST-PwD rank they have to submit the requisite documents at the time of admission for verification.
If candidates fail to produce the relevant documents for verification then,
PwD candidates of ST/SC can be considered for SC/ST category if they secure SC/ST rank and did not avail of any compensatory time.
They can be considered for the Open PwD category with their Open PwD rank.
ST/SC PwD candidates will be considered for the Open category if they have the Open rank and did not avail compensatory time.
If PwD candidates availed compensatory time, * will be marked in the scorecard against the PwD category.
Top Design Entrance Exam
CEED Cutoff 2022
IIT Bombay will release the CEED 2022 cutoff for Part A on February 10. Candidates who secure less marks than the CEED cutoff 2022 will not be applicable to apply for admission at the participating institutes. Students must score the minimum marks or above the cut off of CEED to qualify for admission.
CEED Merit List & Ranks
Soon after the results are announced, IIT Bombay also releases the CEED merit list. Only those candidates who make it to the merit list are called to appear for further rounds of admission and CEED counseling. Check out some important features of the CEED merit list below:
- All candidates who qualify Part-B of the exam only make it to the merit list
- The CEED merit list 2022 will have two parts - the final drawing list and a waiting list
- Candidates whose names appear in the final drawing list will be allocated seats through CEED counselling
- The remaining seats, if any will be filled through waitlist candidates
In the CEED scorecard and merit list, ranks are allotted to candidates in different categories. Check out the different types of CEED ranks that are allotted to candidates:
- Open Rank: Open rank is given to candidates whose total CEED score and marks in Part-A are equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks
- EWS Rank: This rank is given to General category candidates who belong to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of the society. Such candidates are also given Open ranks as there is no separate cutoff for such candidates.
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL Rank: This rank is given to candidates who belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories. However, the ranks of such candidates are retained only if they are able to produce original certificates issued by the relevant authority at the time of verification of documents. If any candidate fails to produce the relevant document, s/he is considered under the Open category only.
- Open PwD Rank: This rank is valid for General category candidates who are physically disabled. However, similar to SC/ST/OBC-NCL rank, candidates can retain the Open Persons with Disability (PwD) rank only if they are able to produce relevant documents at the time of verification of documents.
- SC/ST/OBC-NCL PwD Rank: This rank is valid for SC/ST/OBC category candidates who are physically disabled. If any candidate fails to produce the relevant document at the time of verification, s/he will be considered for admission as per their SC/ST/OBC rank or Open rank, as applicable.

What After CEED Results?
Obtaining a CEED rank does not guarantee admission in colleges accepting CEED scores for admission. If candidates have been shortlisted for admission basis their performance in CEED then they need to separately fill out the application form at each college that accepts CEED scores for M.Des admissions. Thereafter, candidates need to meet the admission requirements listed by each college, which usually include appearing for another written test/interview round.

As you have secured 59 marks in ceed 2022 and consider you would be having the benefit of sc category so let me tell you that in these marks it is very difficult to predict your colleges category wise .
Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

With reference to yoru above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that yes, the CEED/GATE scores are mandatory for CPDM DAT exam .
CPDM IISc. Eligiblity for admission to M Des programme is a basic degree in engineering or architecture. Selection for admission is based on performance in a design aptitude test (DAT) and interview conducted at the centre. Shortlisting for DAT is done on the basis of appliacant's CEED or GATE score .

What are the colleges/institutes which are actually accepting BA or BSc students with 3 year graduation degree under them for their Mdes Programme under CEED?
Under CEED Institute which offered M.des to the candidates with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years duration after 10+2) not allowed candidates with B.A or b.sc but you can do Mdes in IIT Hyderabad they offer course after completing Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2 year programme after10+2+3).
