CEED Result 2021 - Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay will announce the result of CEED in the first week of March, 2021 in online mode. The concerned authority will not send the hard copy of the result to the candidates individually. Aspiring students can download the CEED 2021 result from the official website by entering the required credentials. Along with the result the examination cell will also release the scorecard of CEED. Students must note that the scorecard will be provided to the qualified candidates only. CEED scorecard is valid for one year only from the date of issue. CEED is a national level exam conducted by IIT Bombay to offer admission for post graduate courses. The entrance exam of CEED consists of two parts - Part A and Part B. Candidates will be allowed to appear in CEED exam Part B which is a screening test only if they clear Part A. Students can check the result of CEED on the official website of CEED. The process to download the CEED result 2021 is as follows.
Step 1 - Students will have to visit the official website (ceed.iitb.ac.in)
Step 2 - Click on the link ‘Check CEED Result’
Step 3 - Candidates will have to enter the registered email id and password
Step 4 - CEED 2021 Result will be display on the screen
Step 5 - Download the CEED result and take the print out of the score card

Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay will provide the scorecard of CEED along with the result to the qualified candidates. Students must be aware that the concerned authority will not send the hardcopy of the CEED scorecard to them. Candidates can download the scorecard from the official website. Students are advised to keep the scorecard safely as the participating institute will verify the category certificate, eligibility, other relevant documents along with the CEED scorecard at the time of admission.

As per the categories, EWS, PwD criterion CEED ranks will be given separately.Check the following to know the details of CEED ranks.
1. Open Rank - This rank is given to the candidates whose marks in Part A and CEED score is equal to or greater than 38 and 30 respectively.
2. EWS Rank - This rank will be awarded to the EWS candidates of a general category. They will also get an open rank as there is no separate cutoff on marks for EWS.
3. SC/ST/OBC - NCL Rank - This rank will be given to the candidates other than general category as per their birth certificate. However this rank will hold true only if the candidates submit the relevant original documents for verification at the time of admission. If students fail to produce the relevant document they will fall under the open category only if they secure the open rank.
4. Open PwD Rank - If the marks of the PwD candidates in Part A and score of CEED is equal to or greater than 19 and 15 respectively, then they will be awarded Open PwD rank. This rank will hold true at the time of admission only if they submit the relevant original documents at the time of admission else they will fall under open category if they get the open category rank and do not avail the compensatory time.
Note - If they avail compensatory time, * will be marked in the scorecard against the PwD category.
5. OBC-NCL PwD Rank - The qualified PwD candidates of OBC-NCL category will be awarded OBC-NCL PwD rank along with the open PwD rank if their marks in Part A and CEED score are equal to or greater than 34.2 and 27 respectively. However to consider this rank if they have to submit the relevant original documents at the time of admission for verification.
If candidates fail to produce the required documents then,
If OBC-NCL PwD candidates secure the rank of OBC-NCL and did not avail the compensatory time, then they will be considered for the OBC-NCL category.
Again they can be considered for the Open PwD category if they have the Open PwD rank
If they get Open rank and did not avail compensatory time, then OBC-NCL PwD candidates can also be considered for the Open category.
If PwD candidates availed compensatory time, * will be marked in the scorecard against the PwD category.
6. SC/ST/PwD Rank - This rank will be given to the PwD candidates of SC/ST as per their birth category. However to consider SC/ST-PwD rank they have to submit the requisite documents at the time of admission for verification.
If candidates fail to produce the relevant documents for verification then,
PwD candidates of ST/SC can consider for SC/ST category if they secure SC/ST rank and did not avail any compensatory time.
They can be considered for the Open PwD category with their Open PwD rank.
ST/SC PwD candidates will be considered for the Open category if they have the Open rank and did not avail compensatory time.
IIT Bombay will release the cutoff of the CEED which specify the minimum marks that candidates will have to score to consider for admission in postgraduate courses. Candidates who secure less marks than the CEED cutoff will not be applicable to apply for admission. Students must score the minimum marks or above the cut off of CEED to qualify for the admission.
IIT Bombay will announce the CEED 2021 result in the first week of March 2021.
The scorecard will be available on the official website of CEED most likely in the first week of March.

After you get your CEED scorecard, I think its best you start checking your college preferences based on your scores and shortlist them. The the most important step is to take care of the last day of application of the colleges.
Even if your CEED score is less than you dream college, I would still recommend you apply for it because you never know about the cut-offs for that year.
