CEED Eligibility Criteria 2019 - IIT Bombay, the exam conducting institute will announce the CEED 2019 eligibility criteria. Before filling the application form, an aspirant must be aware about the eligibility criteria of CEED 2019. Only those, who meet the CEED 2019 eligibility criteria, will be able to appear in the national level design entrance exam. The prescribed CEED eligibility criteria 2019 give information about age requirement, academic qualifications, number of attempts, etc. Eligible candidates can fill the application form and appear for CEED 2019. Admissions will be given to M.Des. programmes offered across IIT Kanpur, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIT Guwahati, IIT Bombay, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Delhi and IISc Bangalore. CEED 2019 will comprise two parts- A and B. One hour will be given to attempt part A and two hours will be given for completing part B. Part A of CEED 2019 will be an online screening test, and the shortlisted candidates after this will be eligible to appear for Part B.   • Passing a degree/diploma/postgraduate degree programme of four years or 3+2 years (after 10+2 level) is mandatory. However, those appearing for the final exam of such a programme by July 2019 are also eligible to apply.

  • Aspirants, who have passed the GD Arts diploma programme (10+5 level) by July 2018, can also apply.

  • IIT Bombay has announced that there is not any minimum age requirement to fill the application form of CEED 2019.

  • An eligible candidate can appear for CEED multiple times. There is not any limit to that.

Candidates, who fulfill the CEED eligibility criteria 2019, can fill application form in online mode. It is available between October 9 and November 14, 2018. The application fee to appear in the exam has to be paid in the online mode as well. Candidates can check the fee details below:

Qualified candidates, who are eligible as well, will be considered for admissions across following participating institutes of CEED 2019:

  1. IIT Kanpur: Design Programme

  2. IIITDM Jabalpur: Design Discipline

  3. IIT Guwahati: Department of Design

  4. IIT Bombay: Industrial Design Center

  5. IIT Hyderabad: Department of Design

  6. IIT Delhi: Instrument Design and Development Centre

  7. IISc Bangalore: Center for Product Design and Manufacturing

Apart from these, IIT Bombay will share the CEED 2019 result with the below mentioned institutes as well:

1. Anant National University

2. World University of Design (WUD)

3. Lovely Professional University (LPU)

4. Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) University

5. Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology

6. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES)

CEED Test Pattern 2019

IIT Bombay will conduct CEED 2019, and there will be two parts- A and B. Candidates will be given one hour to complete part A and two hours to complete part B. The details are as follows:

  • Part A, an online test carrying MCQs, will be a screening test for evaluating candidates for part B of the paper.

  • In Part B, evaluation of the test-takers will be done to judge their sketching ability. Only this part of CEED 2019 paper will be used for the preparation of merit list.

CEED 2019 will be held on January 19 for admissions to M.Des programmes across the participating institutes. It is also the qualifying test for admissions to PhD. programmes across some of the IITs.
