About SMEAT 2026

Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, and Technology will open the SMEAT 2026 application form tentatively in December 2025. What is SMEAT Exam?

SMEAT (Srishti Manipal Entrance and Aptitude Test) is the entrance test conducted by Srishti Manipal Institute to provide admissions into its design courses. SMEAT UG Eligibility Criteria 

SMEAT UG eligibility criteria state that applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from any one of the following:

  • State Boards, Junior College, Intermediate, HSSC, PUC, Senior Secondary or National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS)
  • In the case of an international board, the candidate should have a minimum of 3 subjects in A levels, and 5 passes in IGCSE/GCSE, including English. 
  • Average "D" grade in IB Diploma or IB certificate with 3 subjects each at HL and SL with a minimum of 24 points in High School Diploma (US/Canada)

SMEAT PG Eligibility Criteria

SMEAT M.Des Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have fulfilled at least one of the following educational requirements:

  • Attained Level 8 NSQF Certification in a relevant industry sector.
  • Completed a three-year undergraduate degree plus a one-year Postgraduate Diploma Program (PGDP) from a recognized university, either national or international.
  • Earned a four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized university, either national or international.
  • Obtained a five-year undergraduate degree from a professional institute.

 SMEAT M.A Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have completed at least one of the following educational milestones:

  • Achieved Level 8 NSQF Certification in an applicable industry sector.
  • Graduated with a three-year undergraduate degree, including a three-year Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) degree, from a recognized university, either national or international.
  • Finished a three-year undergraduate degree and a one-year Postgraduate Diploma Program (PGDP) from a recognized university, either national or international.

  • Earned a five-year undergraduate degree from a professional institute.

good afternoon, for admission to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) in India, the NEET UG exam is the primary and mandatory entrance test for most colleges  both government and private.

NEET UG is conducted by NTA and is the only accepted exam for BAMS admission under the Ministry of AYUSH guidelines2.

Admission is granted through central (AACCC) and state-level counseling based on NEET scores.

No other national-level exam is accepted for BAMS in regular colleges.

A few deemed universities or minority institutions may offer BAMS seats without NEET, often through management quota or direct admission, but these are limited and not widely recognized.
