    BITS Design School 2026 Exam Pattern

    The BITSDAT 2026 exam pattern requires candidates to go through three levels before the final results. Candidates should appear for the BITSDAT exam after which the shortlist will be announced. After the shortlist for the entrance exam has been released, candidates will have to upload their portfolio. Following the portfolio upload they have to appear for an online interview.     English Language and Comprehension

    Students are assessed on their language ability and day-to-day communication. The aspects that are covered under the English Language and Comprehension section include synonyms, antonyms, idioms and phrases, spellings, sentence completion, vocabulary etc.

    Logical and Analytical Reasoning

    Under the Logical Reasoning section, students will be expected to answer questions related to verbal as well as non-verbal reasoning.

    Visual Sensitivity

    Under this section, students will be tested on their ability to analyse, and prove how good they can be at visual reasoning. Through this section, the examiner will be able to assess a student's ability to understand and make sense of complex ideas.

    Design Concepts and Aptitude

    Students will be assessed on the knowledge they hold about the design industry. Students will be evaluated based on their design aptitude, awareness of current trends in the fashion industry, etc.
