Jawaharalal University Architecture and Fine Arts University will release the JNAFAU FADEE 2026 syllabus and exam pattern on the official website - jnafau.ac.in. The exam pattern of JNAFAU FADEE 2026 lays down the structure and modalities of the JNAFAU FADEE entrance exam. The JNAFAU syllabus lays down the important topics in the exam. As per the JNAFAU paper pattern, there will be multiple papers on different subjects as per the programme. The university will conduct JNAFAU FADEE for different disciplines under the BFA programme and B.Design.

The questions of JNAFAU FADEE 2026 BFA ( Applied Art, Painting, Sculpture & Animation) consist of 3 papers - Paper A, Paper B, Paper C. Candidates can check the JNAFAU syllabus and exam pattern for the Applied Art, Painting, Sculpture & Animation course.
Drawing from memory, day-to-day life, consisting of human form, engaged in any activity, surrounded by nature, animals, birds, and manmade or natural environment. Examples include a potter at the wheel under a tree with an animal nearby, a vegetable market, railway station, and so on.
Skills to be tested:
Memory drawing and colouring skills
Handling of coloured pencils as a medium
Choice of colour scheme
Application methods
Compositional sense and perspective of landscape.
Size: 10” X16” space will be provided for drawing on cartridge paper.
Note:
1. No choice will be given.
2. Only coloured pencils are allowed. Water colours and others are not allowed.
Paper B in FADEE is a common objective-type paper. Candidates will have to complete paper B of FADEE in 50 minutes. Total questions in JNAFAU FADEE paper B will be 50.

Objects will be placed in front of the candidates, and they will be required to draw and render them in pencils by observation, without the use of a ruler or any mechanical devices.

Drawing skills
Compositional sense
Understanding of the form, volume, and surface textures of the object
Ability to create a three-dimensional effect on a two-dimensional surface, through light and shade with lead pencils of various grades eg. HB, 2B, 4B, 6B etc.

The paper consists of three parts:
Drawing and compositional skills
Rendering in lead pencils to give the effect of light and shade.
Completing a given diagram by adding and drawing appropriate objects
BFA (Photography) paper for FADEE will consist of objective-type questions. Aspirants will have to complete the JNAFAU question paper for BFA Photography in 50 minutes.

For candidates applying for BDes in interior design, JNAFAU Paper F is conducted. The entrance exam is held for the duration of 180 minutes. Moreover, total JNAFAU FADEE marks are 200.
