    The BFA course is an undergraduate programme offered by some of the top institutes across India. These institutes conduct entrance exams or accept national-level BFA entrance tests for admission purposes. The BFA entrance exams in India are conducted to select students to join prestigious institutions around India for a BFA course.

    Jamia Millia Islamia BFA Entrance Exam

    Being one of the most prestigious colleges in India, Jamia Millia Islamia also offers BFA. The candidates have to appear for the Jamia Millia Islamia BFA entrance exam for admission. The JMI BFA entrance exam date is most likely to be in May. The JMI BFA application registration usually starts in February. The students will need to pay the expected BFA entrance exam in India fees of Rs. 550 and submit the application form. The candidates can get access to the application form through the official website of JMI.

    MAH AAC CET

    CET Cell Maharashtra conducts the Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test, or MAH AAC CET, for admission to BFA colleges in Maharashtra. The BFA entrance exam registration process began in January. This entrance exam will grant the students admission into top BFA colleges in Maharashtra. The MAH ACC CET entrance exam was conducted on April 12, 2026, in offline mode. The candidates need to pay the BFA entrance exam fees in India during the application process for MAH AAC CET.

    SMEAT

    The Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology conducts the SMEAT entrance examination for candidates who are interested in pursuing design programmes. The SMEAT 2026 application process has began from November 2026. As of now, the university has conducted three admission rounds. This SMEAT BFA entrance examination is held in multiple phases. The SMEAT round 1 exam was held on April 14, 2026, and round 2 on May 24, 2026. The SMEAT round 3 exam will be held on June 27, 2026. Presently, the round 3 application process is ongoing.

    CUCET

    The Chandigarh University conducts a CUCET for students to get into BFA courses. The CUCET BFA application process was opened on October 25, 2026, on their official website. The CUCET BFA application form has been closed in the phase wise manner. The CUCET BFA application form for phase 1 and phase 2 was closed on May 15, 2026. All the candidates had to fill out the application form before the due date and pay the BFA entrance exam in India fees of Rs 1000 for the successful submission of the application form.

    CUET

    Common University Entrance Test is conducted by the National Testing Agency to grant admission to various courses, including BFA. CUET BFA entrance exam will be conducted from May 11 to June 7, 2026. Students need to fill the BFA registration form for this entrance examination and pay the application fee for the successful submission of the form.

    JNAFAU FADEE

    Another common BFA entrance examination is JNAFAU FADEE, conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University. The candidates need to appear for this entrance examination and score above the cutoff to ensure that they can be eligible for admission. The application forms are usually available on the official website around June every year. The BFA entrance exam date is usually held in July.

    AUSAT

    Alliance University conducts the entrance exam AUSAT to select students across various courses for admission. The candidates who want to get admission into the BFA courses offered by Alliance University need to appear for this entrance examination and qualify for it.
