MAH AAC CET 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates will be able to check MAH AAC CET exam eligibility through brochure. Maharashtra State Candidature
A Candidate can claim only one type of Maharashtra State Candidature Type from Type A to E.
Eligibility Criteria for MAH AAC CET Exam
Type | MAH AAC CET Exam Eligibility Criteria |
Type-A | Candidates passing SSC and also HSC from a recognized institution in Maharashtra State. Candidate who is either Domicile of Maharashtra and/or is born in Maharashtra. |
Type-B | A Candidate who does not fall in Type-A above, but who or whose Father or Mother is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possesses Domicile Certificate. |
Type-C | A Candidate who does not fall in either Type-A or Type-B but whose Father or Mother is an employee of the Government of India or Government of India Undertaking and who has been posted and reported to duty in Maharashtra State before the last date for submission of Application Form for CAP. |
Type-D | A Candidate who does not fall in any of the above Type-A, Type B and Type-C but whose Father or Mother is an employee or retired employee of the Government of Maharashtra or Government of Maharashtra Undertaking. |
Type-E | Candidates passing SSC and/or HSC Examination from a recognized institution located in a disputed Maharashtra Karnataka Border Area and whose mother tongue is Marathi. |
All India Candidature - Candidates who have Indian Nationality are eligible under this Category.
Minority Candidature - Candidate belonging to a particular Linguistic or Religious Minority Community from State of Maharashtra and as notified by the Government are eligible under this Category.
NRI Candidature – The Candidate who fulfils the conditions as mentioned in the official brochure are eligible.
Foreign Student or OCI or PIO Candidature - The eligibility criteria for the Foreign Student Candidates, the Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidate, and Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) are mentioned in the MAH AAC CET official brochure.
Note: For the candidates belonging to Maharashtra State Candidature, Minority Candidature, All India Candidature Candidates and Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir and Union Territory of Ladakh Migrant Candidature Candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Fine Art (B.F.A.), it is mandatory to appear for MAH AAC CET 2025.

Yes of course you can fill your form from obc category in MHT CET if you haven't use your caste certificate before like in your board exams But you must fulfill these conditions
If anyone is OBC but he comes under the CL (creamy layer) Section then he will not come under the OBC category. They are equal to general unreserved Category.so your category must fall under non creamy layer of OBC category.
So you have to be OBC-NCL (non creamy layer) for filling category OBC in MHT CET
Be prepared with your OBC-NCL caste certificate.you must obtain your category certificate before filing form.
If there is option of OBC-CL and if you are OBC-CL then you have to choose that option. If the option is unavailable then you have to choose general Category if you fall under OBC-CL.

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has made the MHT CET 2025 Syllabus pdf available for download.
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology are the four courses covered in the MHT CET program. The MHT CET Syllabus 2025 Weightage PCM and PCB states that while only a few topics from class 11 will be covered in the exam, all of the topics from class 12 will be covered.

Eligibility Criteria:
a) MHT CET requires candidates to have passed 12th (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
b) Your NIOS Mathematics marksheet can be used to fulfill the Math requirement.
How to Apply:
a) While applying for MHT CET, you need to upload both your regular 12th marksheet (PCB) and the NIOS Mathematics marksheet as proof of eligibility.
