The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay will release the CEED syllabus 2026 through its official brochure in online mode at ceed.iitb.ac.in. CEED 2026 will be conducted in two parts- Part A & Part B. Candidates planning to appear for the CEED 2026 exam are advised to go through the CEED exam syllabus and practice previous years' questions. Through the CEED entrance exam, candidates will be admitted into M.Des programmes of participating IITs. The syllabus of CEED 2026, therefore, seeks to evaluate a candidate's suitability to pursue a postgraduate course in design.
IIT Bombay is yet to release the CEED 2026 syllabus online. However, candidates can refer to 2025 syllabus to get an idea on the topics asked. CEED syllabus will be released separately for part A and B.
The Common Entrance Examination for Design is an aptitude test that assesses a wide range of design related skills and creative abilities. To prepare productively, candidates are encouraged to focus on visualization skills, and practise their drawing. Aspiring candidates can also refer to the previous year’s question papers available on the official website of CEED.

The CEED part - B comprises Sketching, Abilities and Detailing. This section tests the perspective drawing skills and concept visualization of the candidate. Yes, you still have a good chance even with a mid CEED score, if the rest of your profile is strong.
