IIT Bombay conducted CEED 2026 on January 18, 2026. Only those candidates who clear the CEED part A cut-off will be evaluated for Part B of the CEED entrance exam and be eligible for IIT M.Des admission. The CEED 2026 part A score has a 0.25 weightage in the calculation of the final score in CEED 2026. In this article, let’s find out whether 55 to 60+ is a good score in CEED 2026 part A.

There is no centralised counselling, so each participating IIT will publish its own CEED 2026 cutoff and conduct the admission separately.

To understand whether 55 to 60+ will be a good score in CEED 2026, one must look at the past CEED cut-off trends. The previous year CEED cut-offs for part A indicate that 55 to 60+ marks out of 150 in CEED 2026 part A will be a good score for an open category candidate to clear the CEED 2026 qualifying cut-off and get shortlisted for evaluation of the performance in part B.

As per the CEED 2026 result evaluation criteria, the CEED 2026 qualifying cut-off for OBC/EWS candidates is 0.9 times that of the general category and for SC/ST candidates, it is 0.5 times that of the general category.
