The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay will release the CEED 2026 draft answer key for Part A online on January 20 . After releasing the CEED 2026 draft answer key, the authorities will also open an objection window for candidates to submit their objections online. Candidates need to upload their comments if any, on the draft answer key for part-A in the candidate's portal on January 22, 2026 before 5pm.

After considering the valid objections, the authorities will release the CEED 2026 final answer key on January 28. Candidates can check their score in CEED 2026 using the answer key. Only those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Part A of the CEED entrance exam will be evaluated for Part B. Candidates will also be able to download the CEED 2026 question paper and their response sheet when the CEED 2026 draft answer key is released. The examination cell will first release the CEED 2026 draft answer key and then the CEED 2026 final answer key

IIT Bombay will release the final answer key for CEED after considering the valid objections from the students and subject experts.

To comment on the draft CEED answer key, students will have to log in to the 'candidate portal' using the login credentials
Then click on the ‘Enter your comment on responses’ button
Candidates will have to choose the correct question number from the drop-down menu and comment on it
However, while objecting, candidates will have to provide enough proof to support their challenge and elaborate on why the provided draft answer key is wrong.
Candidates will also be able to send a file along with their comments. To send the file candidates need to save the file on the drive account, and the link for the same must be entered in the provided space.
After collecting and considering all the comments from the students and the paper-setting team, the examination cell will take a final decision and release the final CEED 2026 answer key.

The examination cell will stipulate the cutoff of the CEED exam, which will specify the minimum marks that candidates must obtain to qualify for CEED. IIT Bombay will declare the CEED result on March 4, 2026. Candidates can check the CEED results by entering the required credentials in the login window. CEED 2026 results will include information such as the name of the candidates, roll number, candidate’s mark, etc. The scorecard will be valid for one year from the date of declaration of the CEED result. Candidates can apply to the M.Des programmes of participating institutes with a valid score in CEED.

While the CEED score is important, most of the institutes use full selection process that includes your CEED score(Part A and B), Portfolio and often an interview or studio tests.Your 6 years of experience, strong portfolio and relevant coursera certificates can add significant value during admission in IITDM, Srishti etc which consider the overall profile not just the rank.
