IIT Bombay MDes Selection Process 2027

IIT Bombay admission to MDes course is done based on CEED scores, followed by written test, online interview and portfolio review. The candidates who are selected for the online evaluation will have to submit their portfolios.

The admission process involves a written test and interview for each of the streams. Written tests may have a material/ studio test, which will be informed to the applicants who are shortlisted based on CEED. In the IIT Bombay MDes admission interview, candidates will be assessed based on their portfolio, academic background, stream-specific design skills, and general as well as design knowledge.
