The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay released the CEED cutoff 2025 for Part-A on February 6. The CEED 2025 cutoff was released at the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The CEED entrance exam comprises Part-A and Part-B. The CEED cutoff released in the form of mean and standard deviation are 45.48 and 16.98 for admission into IITs to pursue postgraduate studies in design. The mean and standard deviation are calculated according to the candidate’s performance in the Part-A section of the CEED 2025 exam.

Candidates, in order to obtain admission into the postgraduate programs at IITs, need to obtain the specified minimum percentage of CEED total marks. The CEED total marks will be calculated on the overall performance in CEED part-A examination.

IIT Bombay released the CEED 2025 cutoff for part A in online mode. The CEED cutoff for Part A is the minimum mark that students need to secure in order to qualify for Part A. Aspirants need to note that the Part-B answer sheets will be evaluated manually of the candidates shortlisted from Part-A.
The final calculation based on the CEED cutoff of Part-A and Part-B is as follows where the weightage for Part-A is 25% and Part-B is 75%.
Final score = 0.25 × Marks scored in Part-A + 0.75 × Marks scored in Part-B
There is a correlation that exists between CEED marks and rank which is a critical factor in determining admission of an aspirant into a design program. Higher CEED marks usually translate to a lower rank, increasing the chances of securing a seat in a preferred IIT or the participating institutes. Hence, candidates need to obtain good marks and rank in CEED for admission into IITs and other participating institutes.
IIT Bombay has declared the CEED result 2025 in online mode at ceed.iitb.ac.in on March 5. Aspirants can check and download the CEED 2025 result using their login credentials allotted. The CEED results 2025 will be made available in the form of a scorecard. Candidates will be able to download the CEED scorecard from March 10 to June 11, 2025. CEED scorecard 2025 will be valid for a period of one year from the date of the result declaration.
