Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay is likely to commence CEED 2025 registration process in October, 2024. CEED is a common entrance test for design conducted every year for admission to MDes courses offered by IITs. CEED Full Form

The full form of CEED is Common Entrance Test for Design. CEED is conducted by the IIT Bombay every year for admission to MDes and PhD programmes in IITs. Aspirants willing to obtain MDes degree from IITs have to appear and qualify the CEED entrance examination.

CEED 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Common Entrance Exam for Design 2025 eligibility criteria include certain parameters such as the candidate’s age, academic qualifications, nationality, etc. The eligibility criteria are to check if the candidate is suitable to obtain admission through the CEED entrance exam. CEED Exam 2025 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates are advised to go through the CEED exam eligibility criteria 2025 before proceeding to the application process. Here are the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

• The candidates, after 10+2, must have completed a degree/diploma/post-graduate degree programme of a minimum of THREE years

• (OR) must be appearing for the final exam of such program by July 2025

• (OR) must have passed the GD Arts diploma course, i.e. 10+5 level by July 2025

• There is no specific age limit for the candidates who wish to appear for the CEED 2025 entrance examination.

• The candidate can appear for the CEED entrance exam any number of times.

CEED 2025 Application

The CEED 2025 application is expected to be released by the authorities in October 2024. The last date for online submission/registrations will be updated as per the official notification. Candidates can register online at the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The CEED 2025 registration process includes filling in personal and academic details, uploading relevant documents, and registration fee payment for CEED 2025.

Before applying online, the candidates are advised to check the CEED 2025 eligibility criteria. During the CEED 2025 registration process, candidates also have to pay the CEED 2025 registration fee online using a credit card or a debit card or through net banking.

Note: Any applicants registering after the application closing date have to pay Rs. 500 as a late fee.

• The admit card will be displayed on the screen.

The admit card contains important information like the candidate’s name, the signature of the candidate, application number, roll number, candidate’s date of birth, exam name, exam date and time, exam centre name and code, etc.

The CEED 2025 admit card must be taken to the exam hall on the day of the examination. The candidate should carry any of the following valid photo identity proofs along with the CEED admit card.

CEED 2025 Answer Key

The authorities will announce the CEED 2025 answer key release date at the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. The draft answer key will be released in the pdf format for the questions given in the examination. IIT Bombay will announce and release the final CEED answer key on its official website. The answer key consists of the correct answers to the Part A questions given in the exam for Aptitude and Mathematics. There will be no answer key will be available for Part B of the exam consisting of subjective questions. • Click on the answer key link and log in using the login credentials.
• The CEED 2025 answer key will be displayed in pdf format.

• Calculate the score expected thereafter.

CEED 2025 Results

IIT Bombay will release the CEED 2025 results online at its official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. Candidates have to use the login credentials such as the login ID and password to check the CEED 2025 results. After viewing the results, the candidates can download them in the form of a scorecard.

Follow these steps to download the CEED 2025 results.

• Open the official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in
• Click on the CEED 2025 link.
• Enter the registered login credentials: login ID and password.
• The CEED results 2025 will appear on the screen.
• The qualified candidates will be able to download the scorecard.
• The scorecard will consist of the candidate’s name, application number, subject-wise marks obtained, and the qualifying status.
• Take a printout of the CEED 2025 scorecard and keep it safe for further admission process.

CEED 2025 Cutoff

IIT Bombay releases the CEED exam 2025 cutoff as per the schedules. The CEED 2025 cutoff pdf will be released in the form of mean and standard deviation on its official website - ceed.iitb.ac.in. CEED 2025 cutoff is usually specified for part A of the exam and used to shortlist the candidates for part B.

CEED 2025 Counselling

The candidates who appeared for the CEED entrance exam 2025, must apply separately to the colleges/institutions they are willing to join. The mode of CEED 2025 counselling is conducted offline. The authorities will not conduct the CEED counselling 2025 as common for all the institutions.

The cutoff varies for different institutions. Hence, the candidates have to select the participating institutions of their choice from the list provided by the authorities. Based on the norms of the participating institutions, if the candidate’s CEED 2025 scores meet the criteria, then the admission process will take the next step. The ranks scored by the candidates are released based on the seat allotment lists.

CEED Syllabus 2025

CEED Syllabus - Part B

• Drawing: Ability to draw products, people, or scenes in proportion with good line quality, composition, proportion, perspective, and shading.

• Design aptitude: Capability to practically and appropriately respond to problems/situations with ingenuity and empathy.

• Creativity: Capacity to think out of the box and come up with unique as well as diverse solutions.

• Communication: Skills to communicate concepts and ideas clearly with the help of text and visuals.

• Problem identification: Capability to understand the user and the context, knowledge of properties of materials, and their appropriate use in design.

NOTE: The topics given above are exhaustive and indicative of the nature of the questions. However, the CEED may not cover all the topics.
