One can opt for a Bachelor’s in Design (B.Des) specializing in graphic designing which is the most suitable course for students to opt for just after 12th grade. It is a four-year-long course that teaches graphic design from scratch. The student must acquire a minimum aggregate of 50% in 12th grade to apply to some of the best colleges for graphic design in India. Along with that a student must take and qualify for an entrance examination conducted by the desired institutions to gain admission in the preferred college.

Best colleges in India include NID (National Institute of Design) which conducts an entrance examination to take in the best talents across the nation. IITs also intake graphic designing students through UCEED which is conducted every year. Pearl Academy, is a private institution that also conducts an entrance examination for candidates to take admission in the B.Des programme.

The fee for a bachelor’s in graphic design courses usually ranges from 3 Lakhs to 10 Lakhs in total. M. Des in Graphic Designing

The students interested in higher studies after a bachelor’s in graphic design courses can apply for a Master's in Design (M.Des) course if they fulfil the requirements. To be eligible for M.Des one needs an aggregate of at least 50% in their B.Des degree or a bachelor's in Architecture or Engineering can also work as a prerequisite. M.Des course in Graphic Design is a two-year full-time course that gives the students an in-depth knowledge in the field of design. Arch School of Design and Business is a reputed choice for M.Des and it conducts an entrance examination known as AIEED to select the candidates. CEED (Common Entrance Examination for Design) is also an exam that students should keep an updated aim on. The fee for the M.Des course may range from 20,000 to 12 Lakhs.
