    The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has notified its MAH BDes CET 2026 exam pattern at cetcell.mahacet.org. The MAH BDes CET exam pattern 2026 provides information about the question paper pattern, its marking scheme, and maximum marks in the MAH BDes CET entrance exam.     The MAH BDes CET question paper is divided into three parts - Part A, Part B, and Part C. Candidates must follow the MAH CET BDes exam pattern so that they can prepare for the MAH BDes exam 2026.     MAH BDesign CET 2026 Exam Pattern - Overview

    The MAH CET BDes exam pattern 2026 will have the questions consisting of three sections - MCQ-based questions, Visualisation, and Sketching Skill-based questions. The MAH BDesign CET will be conducted in offline mode at the selected exam centres. The following table provides the details of each section.

    NOTE: There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered.

    • The candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Design degree courses, it is mandatory for the candidates to appear for all papers.

    • Candidates will be provided with OMR answer sheets with question papers for Part C paper. At the end of the paper, the candidate will have to hand over the OMR answer sheet to the invigilator.

    • There is no negative marking System for this Test.

    • The medium of the test is English.

    Marking Scheme for MAH BDesign CET 2026

    The weightage of Part A in MAH BDes CET is 40 marks, Part B is 60 marks and Part C of the exam is 100 marks. There are a total of 62 questions carrying 200 marks. The duration of the MAH BDes CET test will be 2 hours and 45 minutes.

    • Part A: 1 question of 40 marks for 45 minutes
    • Part B: 1 question for 60 marks for 60 minutes
    • Part C: 60 questions for 100 marks for 60 minutes

    There is no negative marking System for this test.

    Guidelines to fill the MAH BDes CET 2026 OMR sheets

    Candidates should fill out the OMR sheets of MAH BDes CET test carefully as they will be evaluated digitally. Following are the instructions for filling out the OMR sheet.

    • Each MCQ question will have four options. Candidates should mark the correct option by blackening the corresponding oval on the OMR sheet using a blue or black ballpoint pen only.
    • Candidates should darken only one oval for each question. Candidates should note that marking more than one oval is considered an incorrect answer.
    • Aspirants can check the correct method of darkening the oval on the 1st page of the OMR answer sheet. Candidates must follow the specified procedure while filling the oval.
    • Candidates are restricted from tearing, mutilating, or bending the OMR answer sheet.

    MAH BDes CET Syllabus 2026

    Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has released the official MAH BDes syllabus 2026 in online mode at its official website. MAH BDes CET is a test designed to check students' aptitude and aptitude for keen observations, analytical skills, creative thinking, visualization, and manual dexterity.

    According to the MAH CET syllabus for the Design program, the test paper consists of 4 sections viz. General Knowledge/ Awareness, Art & Design Fundamentals, Science & Technology, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Visualization and Illustration Ability, and Design Thinking and Problem-Solving.
