MAH BDesign CET Exam Pattern 2024 PDF

According to the MAH CET 2024 BDes exam pattern, the questions consist of two sections - MCQs-based questions and Sketching Skill-based questions. The following table mentioned the details of the two sections.

NOTE: There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered.
The candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Design degree courses, it is mandatory that the candidate must appear for all papers.
Candidates will be provided with OMR answer sheets with question papers for Part A paper. At the end of the paper, the candidate will hand over the OMR answer sheet to the invigilator.
The weightage of Part I of the MAH BDes CET is 100 marks and Part II of the exam is 100 marks. There are a total of 72 questions carrying 200 marks. The duration of the MAH BDes CET test will be 3 hours and 45 minutes (11 AM to 2:45 PM).
Part I: 40 questions of one mark each and 30 questions of two marks each
Part II: 1 question for 40 marks and 1 question for 60 marks
Part A is MCQ-based questions, for 90 minutes. Part B is sketching skill-based & problem-solving ability, for 90 minutes. There is no negative marking System for this test.

Candidates should fill out the OMR sheets carefully as they will be evaluated digitally. Following are the instructions for filling out the OMR sheet.
Each MCQ question will have four options. Candidates should mark the correct option by blackening the corresponding oval on the OMR sheet using a blue or black ballpoint pen only.
Candidates should darken only one oval for each question. Candidates should note that marking more than one oval is considered an incorrect answer.
Aspirants can check the correct method of darkening the oval on the 1st page of the OMR answer sheet. Candidates must follow the specified procedure while filling the oval.
Candidates are restricted from tearing, mutilating, or bending the OMR answer sheet.

MAH B.Des CET is a test designed to check students' aptitude and aptitude for keen observations, analytical skills, creative thinking, visualization, and manual dexterity.
By the MAH CET syllabus for the Design program, the test paper consisted of 4 sections viz. General Knowledge/ Awareness, Art & Design Fundamentals, Science & Technology, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Visualization and Illustration Ability, and Design Thinking and Problem-Solving.
