The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release its MAH BDes CET 2026 exam pattern at cetcell.mahacet.org. The MAH BDes CET exam pattern 2026 will be released online to provide a clear idea to the candidates about the question paper pattern, its marking scheme, maximum marks, and many more related to the MAH BDes CET entrance exam. The MAH BDes CET 2026 official notification is yet to be released. Meanwhile, aspiring candidates can refer the MAH BDes CET exam pattern as per the previous year.
The MAH BDes CET question paper is divided into three parts - Part A, Part B and Part C. Candidates must follow the MAH CET BDes exam pattern so that they can prepare for the MAH BDesign exam 2026. Maharashtra State BDes CET exam pattern specifies the examination mode, duration of the exam, question format, maximum marks, marking scheme, and many more. The following table gives you more information about the MAH BDes CET 2026 exam pattern.
The MAH CET BDes exam pattern will have the questions consisting of three sections - MCQs-based questions, Visualisation and Sketching Skill-based questions. The MAH BDesign CET will be conducted in offline mode at the selected exam centres. The following table provides the details of each section.

NOTE: There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered.
The candidates seeking admission to Bachelor of Design degree courses, it is mandatory for the candidates to appear for all papers.
Candidates will be provided with OMR answer sheets with question papers for Part C paper. At the end of the paper, the candidate will have to hand over the OMR answer sheet to the invigilator.
There is no negative marking System for this Test.
The medium of the test is English.

The weightage of Part A in MAH BDes CET is 40 marks, Part B is 60 marks and Part C of the exam is 100 marks. There are a total of 62 questions carrying 200 marks. The duration of the MAH BDes CET test will be 2 hours and 45 minutes.

Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell will release the official MAH BDes syllabus 2026 in online mode at its official website. According to the MAH CET syllabus for the Design program, the test paper consists of 4 sections viz. General Knowledge/ Awareness, Art & Design Fundamentals, Science & Technology, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, Visualization and Illustration Ability, and Design Thinking and Problem-Solving.
