Symbiosis Institute of Design (SID) will open the SEED 2027 application form tentatively in August 2026. Interested candidates can apply on the official website - sid.edu.in. The university will conduct SEED 2027 tentatively in January 2027 in online remote proctored mode. Shortlisted candidates in the exam will be called for the PRPI round. The SEED 2027 final result will be declared based on the candidate's score in the exam and the PRPI round. Candidates shortlisted from the Symbiosis Entrance Exam for Design will be offered admission into the B.Des programmes of the SID. The courses in Symbiosis B.Des admissions include B.Des Communication Design, B.Des Industrial Design, B.Des Fashion Design, and B.Des Fashion Communication.
Candidates who passed the 10+2 exam from any stream or equivalent, or a 10+3 diploma with 50% (45% for reserved categories like SC/ST) recognised or approved by the state board of technical education, are eligible to apply for the SEED exam. The SEED 2027 syllabus includes topics on visualisation, observation, perceptual and reasoning abilities, problem-solving, creativity, basic science and maths, and arts and culture. As per the SEED exam pattern, there will be 60 questions to be answered within a duration of 60 minutes. The SEED exam pattern includes multiple-choice questions.
